I think it will be a few days yet before this is resolved either way. Who else is in the market to afford Conte's demands? None of the big clubs that I can think of could afford it. Therefore if Conte appointment falls flat, then maybe in will end up without a club until one of the big clubs has a bad start to the season and sacks their Manager.

I am 90% certain Conte is adrift in the wind. Why would he need two days to 'think about it'. He knows what is on offer.
