I know it can be annoying with people moaning all the time but, think about it when was the last time spurs got all the transfer targets in good time to be integrated into the team. Trouble is most if us have seen this all before and have no confidence in Levy to get everything done on time. As supporters sometimes it seems it's just us that care about the team rather than saving a few quid
 
again, same people:

"Just pay the fucking money Levy, pay the wages that they want FFS, don't be so tight"

then

"They are utter shit, get rid, over paid and raping the club, why wont some other club buy them"

Well sunshine it's because we overpaid and no other club can afford their salary so they would rather stay here taking their pay, sitting on the bench until their contract ends.

It's not rocket science. It's a balance between not over paying until we've proven they can cut it in our league.
 
I know absolutely nothing about our transfer status but I find it very hard to believe we would let Toby go unless we were pretty sure we had a decent replacement lined up. It's not like he went for big money. If all financials were agreed could it just be work permit or visa holding up an announcement?

I'm still hoping we're also looking at the Dier situation as it's pretty dier...

I'll judge our transfer success once the window closes. Lots of teams will be impacted by the Euros, Copa America and the Olympics. It's going to be a slow and fragmented start for many teams, not just us.
 
Sissoko signed summer 16 was it? we must have both renewed his contact along the way and upped his wage.

Zouma isn't a bad player but would be underwhelming, and it would be a fairly chickenshit move bringing in Chelsea's fourth or fifth choice CB to be a starter for us. He's a better version of Dier, a bit worse with the ball but better at many aspects of defending.

Zouma is good, he’s better than the current CBs on our roster. He plays with heart, he’s strong, he scores goals and with the right partner he can be very solid. I would be fine signing him as long as it’s in addition to Romero. He’s like Davinson but with a brain. Not elite but he doesn’t fall over all the time and let balls bounce over his head.

But there is no chance of us dealing with Chelsea, absolutely zero. We went through the same thing with Giroud. They are just trolling us, they want us to enquire so that they can publicly decline our offer.
 
This feels like Atlanta are moving the goalposts and constantly upping the price.

maybe there's a sell on to Juve they want covered?

The player's desire to come is one thing in our favour but it fees like a few more days of posturing .
