I'm in the same boat.I have been a fan for over 60 years and yes I have seen us win trophies but there is a time limit and I am not sure if I will see us win another. less likely if we sell our best player which we have not done since Bale.

You got floats/life jackets?
Also - Sancho is a cunt and Kane isntTotally agree. I’m in the “don’t sell Kane” camp, but if City are truly adamant they want him, we rinse them for every penny they have. You give us 170 mil or you don’t get him. The 100 mil quote Harry gave in the Neville interview is laughable. If Sancho is going for 85 mil, then Kane is worth double that.
We'll probably get thrashed by City anyways, but any scenario in which we sell Kane either before or after getting thrashed by City would mean Levy would never be safe in public ever again. We'd be nuts to sell Kane now. 2 weeks before the start of the season. Unless they get the money we need for him and have 2 strikers ready to sign straight away. For me theres just not enough time to get them over the line and it will impact the start of the season
In your opinion which actually doesn't make it wrong as opposed to you not agreeing.
Very different things.
And in those 60 years you would have seen us win a lot more than kane would in his career if he stays with no real squad improvement.I have been a fan for over 60 years and yes I have seen us win trophies but there is a time limit and I am not sure if I will see us win another. less likely if we sell our best player which we have not done since Bale.
Not poor kane. Poor no one. Just that a players career ends much faster than fans supporting a club. So comparing how fans are sticking to a club to a player is stupid.
Nope....I'm going down for the 3rd time.....
And I don't mean on my wife!
You are comparing 60 years to 7 years. And in those 60 years you would have seen us win a lot more than kane would in his career if he stays with no real squad improvement.
No leave that I will do that for you.
You are confusing your own point. You are right, you cant compare 60 years+ more in the future to 7 years+ 3 or 4 more years of kane's career.
Grealish has always been super loyal to villa… you have to give him propsI was being sarcastic about Kane's reason for leaving. I do not like the way he has gone about it one bit. To my knowledge Grealish has not expressed a wish to leave Villa and yet why should he not want to win Trophies which is unlikely at Villa? Transfers go on all the time but it is MC that is pushing the Grealish transfer and Kane his own. I have more respect for Grealish than Kane. Hopefully the quote that if Grealish signs then no bid for Kane other than a low one will be levied. MC have publicly stated they will not bid £160m and I doubt they will go anywhere near that figure. If we accept a low offer to balance the books I will join the anti ENIC/Levy brigade and criticise them like hell.
Good point well madeIt should give pause to Kane how badly do City want him...they have the money but chose Grealish. Think about it Harry.
Same here mate but we won’t win anything again if we keep sacking our manager a few days before a cup final!!I have been a fan for over 60 years and yes I have seen us win trophies but there is a time limit and I am not sure if I will see us win another. less likely if we sell our best player which we have not done since Bale.
And he’ll be wearing a mask![]()
