Kane is really reliant on City breaking all sort of transfer records on an injury prone 28yr old.

How much will Levy want , £175m? Will he even accept that. Hard to say.

Either way I'll say this for the 1000th time Levy/Spurs hold all the power.

And if City don't get that move , Kane stays and whatever he does after that the situation is bad for him. Either
- He returns to the squad but other players/fans have lost a lot of respect for him
- He refuses to train etc.. He won't be England captain anymore and if he doesn't play he won't even be called up for England.

Absolutely don’t know the details. However, I’d presume that - if he is playing silly buggers - he’ll be treated the same as any other ‘professional’ who doesn’t do their job (fines etc, and then he can go full Bale and sit on the bench for a while as he gets his head straight).


Hiwever, I hope he’s just testing elsewhere and will be back in training tomorrow. If he isn’t, I think he (a) over-rates himself as City are going to fall over themselves not to pay the full fee and (b) is getting some really awful advice from somewhere!

Not turning up for training is Berbatov territory. There is no way he's coming back if he leaves like this.
 
I'm in the "wait and see" camp regards training. Was told in a sort-of 'in the know' that he wasn't going to play the first two games of the season regardless, so he may report back a little later to training than the others.

However, he has 3 years(?) left on his deal and nobody held a gun to his head and made him sign it. As far as any 'gentleman's agreement' goes, that is null and void if he has decided to not turn up to train - the club pays him to do so.

There's a World Cup soon and in Harry's own words, playing for England means the most to him. IMO, he is too driven and professional to mess that up and he is also in pursuit of individual goal-scoring records. If City won't pay a ridiculous fee (which we are rightly asking for) then he will buckle down and play for us until such time that he either gets his move or changes his mind about it and decides to stay.

And also, those who give Levy shit for this are absolutely right. Kane wants a move because he doesn't feel he can win here. He just top scored and top assisted in the Premier League and the players around him were so shit that we finished 7th. Kane has been doing his job on the pitch, Levy has failed in his off the pitch. If/when we sell Kane, don't let Levy get away with it by directing all your ire at Harry.

Levy folded like a cheap suit on Keane and Berbatoss. Just about held his plonker for 12 months over Modric and got all excited about the Bale money. Kane’s gone. And IF he’s not turned up for training today then he’s a self indulgent prick who put himself above each and every Spurs fan globally. However, I doubt he would be at training today anyway with the Covid situation.

I wouldn't so sure these days.In the past,you would be right.But now i wouldnt be surprised if the FA stand by the poor victim and his servitude at Spurs.
 
I take him leaving, just not him getting the price jacked down for a cheapo deal with City.

To be honest Poch was the hardest person I found to leave the club, even though he lost the dressing room it hurt badly to see him go, he transformed us.

Kane I really just want the money, a big transfer window and him gone. I would also like Joe Lewis to sell up but that ain’t happening so a big window on Kane money is as good as we can hope for.
