There is no other answer to this besides yes. I wouldn't even need Haaland as a sweetener as I would take that straight player swap. In this market 120M would go a long way to making us a proper team. Leicester could do wonders with 120M and a boatload of players most on this board would be clamoring for 2-3 years hence. Would our brains trust squander it? Probably, but that wouldn't make it a bad deal to do in principle. If we could get 120m for Kane and then be guaranteed Haaland in for next season would you do it?
He didn't turn up for training - silly boy that gives more power to the club to play hard ball ... Harry's greatest strength is that he's 'one of our own' if he downs tools he will be just another greedy mercenary ... memories are very short with football fans ... just ask JudasI haven't seen anything yet that proves Harry wants out, let alone forcing the issue. Just circumstantial and a warning to Levy to make a real effort to stop the rot.
Please, if I'm missing something, share the source, but if it's 'reading between the lines', then just leave the melting until he's sold.
"Believe half of what you see, nought of what you hear and actively deny anything printed on the fucking internet, you gullible pricks" - Alastair Gold. 2021-04-01
I always remember the story about Kyle Walkers kids apparently crushed when he went to city. Apparently one still ONLY supports spurs despite obviously publicly supporting his dad and city.Oh let the fucking Circus begin....
We're merely the AUDIENCE... we don't get a SAY in what happens.... like it or not, we've gotta suck it up like the loyal idiots we are....
Kane ain't gonna stay 'cos half a dozen people wrote on a bedsheet to say; "Harry Kane, we want you to stay..." at the first home game...
Shame 'cos the same bedsheet with: "Sonny, give me your shirt" always seems to work!
...and what's weird is, if I GENUINELY supported Spurs, I'd want only the best for MY CLUB.... and if I could provide it, all the better!
I wouldn't WANT Man City, or Cheksea, Or Liverpool or Utd, or ArseAnal winning things AHEAD of the club I love, IF I was in a position to help THE CLUB I LOVE win things!
But then again.... I haven't been offered £500k + to support another team....
I think the general feeling was that he isn't the type to sulk and not give 100% effort, but then again I wouldn't have thought he was the type to bunk off training either.
Your whole rant is petty; more so now that you confess your source is all tabloid. That said: you’re allowed an opinion like anyone is.I'm pissed off because Spurs' best player is having a tantrum and trying to force a move yes, it's disrespectful imo to enjoy a luxury holiday on the back of the wages that THFC (and by extension the fans of THFC) paid him and then not even have the decency to turn up and discuss the matter in person.
We can only go off what's written in the media right now, but as far as that goes Spurs were unaware that he wasn't going to turn up today, if he'd been having zoom calls with the Management it might have been nice of him to drop that into the conversation. Also Paratici mentioned just after he'd joined that it wouldn't be right to disturb Kane whilst on England duty and he would speak to him when he returned to training, no reason to not believe that at present.
The dig about the Euros Final is petty, I won't deny that.
I’m sure a lot of people didn’t think Sol Campbell would be the type of person to snake Tottenham and join Woolwich but that happened.Something else has to be going on here. Kane doesn’t seem like the kind of player that would refuse to go to training to force a move. He’s had undying support from us Spurs fans forever. To tarnish that for a trophy is crazy.
I'm sorry, what source do any of us have other than the media? And the source of Paratici's quote is, well, Fabio Paratici. That's more solid than your assertion that they have probably been in touch over their app of choice.Your whole rant is petty; more so now that you confess your source is all tabloid. That said: you’re allowed an opinion like anyone is.
If there is a legitimate reason for his absence, why hasn't Kane seen the shit storm that's happening and come out and said "Sorry, guys, I've got to self-isolate" or whatever? Why has there been no official response from the club?I think this.
If all reports are correct and Grealish is back with Villa as their captain and carrying on until and if such point arrives then it makes what Kane appears to be doing infinitely worse.
If true It is utterly contemptuous and for many will not and should not ever be forgotten.
For those fans who work over time, who trek for hours, through rain and wind, who invest energy and trust in this player, it would represent the biggest act of disrespect.
No doubt in my mind if this is repeated tomorrow.
Oh dear.If we could get 120m for Kane and then be guaranteed Haaland in for next season would you do it?
“When someone shows you who they are—believe them.”Something else has to be going on here. Kane doesn’t seem like the kind of player that would refuse to go to training to force a move. He’s had undying support from us Spurs fans forever. To tarnish that for a trophy is crazy.
You "know" they've broken verbal promises? How?Atalanta has an option to buy him - which they are exercising. So Romero is an Atalanta player. Otherwise, why would Spurs be negotiating with Juve rather than Atalanta.
You say i don't understand the true feelings of genuine Spurs fans yet you say you don't care how genuine Atalanta fans think about losing their best player. And try to make me feel guilty So it's all about you as a Spurs and nothing else matter...
Oh, again - for the n'th amount of time - I do NOT condone Kane's action of not turning up for training. But all I know is that Levy & Lewis have broken verbal promises in the past - hoping for the best
If they don't show up to training or are disruptive they don't startUnfortunately, that's just not true.
Strictly speaking, yes, they have a contract, but star players have enormous leverage in where they play. Not showing up to training, being disruptive to force through a move.
I'd always thought we would get one more season out of him, but maybe not.
I'm just trying to figure out what the Kane loyalty level is in here. MFers are acting like he's priceless.
Obviously fine him two weeks wages then add the £500k to the transfer fund!!
