Ex-Spurs Player Pierre-Emile Højbjerg

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Is it really great that they come back early after a summer of international football preceeded by an intense, compact, season of club football? Wasn't PEH looking knackered by the end of last season?

"Coming back early" means staying in 5* accommodation with world class facilities and staff who specialise in nutrition, fitness and mental well-being .... all that whilst being paid 80k a week to be there ...

Think I'd "come back early" every time .................

Hojbjerg: “When I’m 35 or 38 I can stop. Until then, I’ll push myself to the limit” | Tottenham Hotspur

“I’m very excited,” he said. “I feel well physically and mentally and again, I truly believe this is a way of living. When I’m 35 or 38 I can stop. Until then, I’ll push myself to the limit and give my all.

“The Club know it, my team-mates know it and every day I will try to give my best. This is who I am. I really want to keep improving, keep learning and I feel the environment we have now is perfect to keep growing as a person and as a footballer. We keep pushing, I keep pushing, and let’s hope for some more glory.”
