Does he have to isolate, quarantine or whatever it is, having come from Tokyo?
Japan is on the Amber list I believe. So that would mean isolation for at least two days while waiting for a negative test if he is double vaccinated.
If you are fully vaccinated you must take a test within 2 days but no requirement to isolate in that period.
I suppose if he does need to be quarantined he can double up with Harry who has an inflatable mattress in his room.
