That position never changes, we want him and we want him now, if it were that easy City and Chelsea wouldn't have needed to spend a billion pounds on new players (many who have failed to live up to expectation) it's OK for them they just buy another shiny new toy.
As our finances improve we can play that game as well, but for now we still have to live within our means, that said for the third summer in a row it looks like we will spend well over 100m on new players - maybe soon we can have our cake and eat it, although it just might be a smaller cake than some others.
