200kpw will be a non-runner for most clubs for a player who'll be seen as a risk in the first place. I'd be surprised if Ndombele isn't with us for the 21/22 season, though that's just my feeling.

we might as well offer to pay 70/80K then just to get him over there and in the shop window.

he's been an unmitigated disaster for us.

getting even 100K off the books is better than keeping him hanging around when he doesn't and wont play.

**Unless of course the plan is to get him right and up to speed..........

I dunno, he was quite good for about 4 months of last season.. probably our best player outside of Kane, Son, Hojbjerg and Lloris. I think he's a better ball player for our midfield three than anybody we'd bring in so I don't mind him staying.

Seems strange to be pushing for a player who doesn't want to join.. I'm sure there's more to it than that.. he'd be a good signing though. Actually haven't been too impressed with him in the minutes he's had for Barca but seen him have terrific performances against some of the top teams in Spain.

That feels like a leak either by Barca or Emerson’s agents to up the price. So much gamesmanship vis the press happening right now.

So you pick the best season and ignore the last season .... makes perfect sense .... if you're an idiot.

Thank goodness our transfer team has more brain cells than you ... although for anyone to have less would seem highly unlikely based on your last few posts.

I said consider all seasons in my first post... can't you read????.

Funny you should say, I was listening to Dany Kelly's show on the radio last night and tweeted in Andy - Brassell and Kevin Hatchard asking if McKennie could do what Ndombele was supposed to?

Hatchard basically said Ndombele was a better player and McKennie wouldn't be nearly as good

......Also reckoned 30m would be over-paying ; that he's not particularly creative and doesn't really have any more cieling.

Emerson has stated he wants to stay at Barca, and they don't seem to want to sell him.

Why don't we move on to a more attainable target?
Maybe we are trying to flush out the Bologna president?

So, how much have we actually spent so far? As Romero is a loan with an option, I think it’s only Gil that represents an actual outlay?

And we’ve sold Foyth too.

They're different. McKennie would be a good player for us. We have three midfield spots, we need Gio/Ndombele to step up and claim one of them if we're to be more of a threat going forward. I know Dele has some goal threat, but he does not use the ball progressively from midfield. Dele, Skipp, Hojbjerg, McKennie would be good competition for the two workhorse spots.
