Everton have DCL. Kean has left. Is Richarlison any more of a striker than Son? Marginally.

City have one striker and they play him RW. West Ham have Antonio and no backup.
I'd like another striker, but I don't think it's the calamity some make it out to be. What is a striker? I'd take Traore over a middling backup striker all day.

Yeah, a goal-scoring RW would be nice. Or an Aouar who could contribute 7/8 goals from midfield. I'd be surprised if Lucas or Bergwijn managed more than six this season.

Fair enough. But Kane wants out next window and if we have somebody already integrated into the squad it is better for everybody.
Also Kane can't start every match. He had a great season last season partly because we had Vini to take those plucky shits from Marine to school.

If Lukaku is playing then Werner is resting... Son never gets a rest.. if we have no backup striker then we are probably slightly short and it could come home to roost in the 2nd half of the season.
