you're not looking at the bigger picture in the slightest and I hope our scouting system and higher ups don't have the same mentality as you.

Whilst you see it as "50m for someone to sit on the bench" I see it as 50m for a player of proven quality who can operate in numerous positions meaning we wouldn't need to get another attacking winger type player AND a good cover striker which would be more then the 50m combined.

Richarlison can operate on the left and right flank as well as being good up front. "He wouldn't start"? you as well as many as getting over excited about out current run of form which is understandable but let's also not forget how poor we have been in games as well. Having someone that quality of Richarlson who can genuinely compete with Kulusevski, Kane and Son and also get a decent amount of starts as it looks like we will be in Europe next season is a no brainer.
As much as I agree with you about having players thaf are prem proven quality (whatever that means exactly) that have versatility to give us greater options from the bench, buying a player that is bang average because of this is absolutely the wrong mentality to have if you want to push for honours on a season by season basis.

In order to compete for the shiny stuff you've got to be spoilt for options like the chelski, citeh or lpools and be able to bring on reliable game changers that could arguably be a starter, not professional wage thieves and divers.

The fact there's 1, let alone more than 1 person on this forum that thinks Sissoko would be a good signing proves this place is crackers... 😁

I didn't say he'd be a good siging. I said I'd rather have him than Richarlison. Which is more about how low I rate the latter than how high I rate the former.

you said Richarlsion is the reason Everton are where they are? hahahahahahha

do you actually watch other games or you just say shit just to say it? go to an Everton forum and say that I'm sure 99.9% of posters will ridicule your post
Everton Forum? I know actual Everton fans pal. Real people, not people on the Internet.
For all you know, those forum members are gimps like some on here who still rate the likes of Winks as a footballer.

yes because people on a forum are not "real people". We are all just Bots who don't really exist.

Give me strength.

Richardlison is far far better than this site apparently gives him credit for, but he also shouldn't be a priority for us, and not worth £50m or whatever.

Between Son, Bergy, Kulu, Lucas, Gil, we have enough up top, especially if we can bring back Eriksen on a free. We actually have the luxury to look for more young prospects like Gil cos our starting attackers are so good.

Paratici should focus 99% of his energy (and our limited budget) on wingbacks, a new LCB, and a CM this summer.

If Gil and Bergy don't seem like they can step into Son's shoes, then we should look at wingers in the summer after next.

Spot on

We should only add at RW if it's established excellence such as Nkunku or Raphinha. Otherwise spend on WBs, LCB.

It's more about budget priorities for me, but yeh, we're on a similar page....

Throwing 50m at a priority position; fair enough... Otherwise meh; see what's still in the pot once the all important business is complete.

If you're offering me Richarlison to replace Lucas as a rotation forward for what's hopefully a season with CL football, I'm biting your hand off.

Very good player who's become less effective the last few seasons.. has the application and ability to become a very good player with Conte's coaching and better players around him.

Lucas is 30 with another two years on his contract (new contracts for Lucas, Winks and Sissoko in 2019 was absolutely criminal). Kane and Son are a similar age. We should absolutely be looking to replace him - Richarlison might not be the right player but I don't think it can just be put off either.

Question: if Conte and Paratici have scouted Richarlison and really like his skill set and believe he can offer something then really isn’t it something we should trust them with?

We know not all signings work but this forum wasn’t exactly all happy when Juv ‘’rejects’’ Kulu and Bentancur got bought. I mean if Conte wants Lucas and Bergwijn gone and replaced with Dybla and Richarlison and that’s what we do then surely that is backing the manager.
Paratici scouted Royal, Gil, Gollini.
Let's not make out he's magic.

Sell Lucas, bring back Gil (then we have someone to rotate with Kulu as a left footed RW) and sign Richarlison. Then you've got a very well balanced group of attackers IMO. Richarlison, unlike Lucas, can play CF well, has more room to grow and can also play on both wings.

But yes, 50m would be insanity. Only worth going for if it's at a cut price because of relegation.

Conte rates Winks. He played him in our last game.
