Just wondering if we bought Bowen , grealish and Maddison at the prices originally quoted. Prbly £50M for the lot. Amazing who was behind our transfees. Bowen would potentially have offered much more than Lucas berg and kulu. Also add eze and Watkins. All would have helped with HG quota as well.
Dont think anyone is suggesting to sell those 2 but we cant get all misty eyed whether we finish 4th or 5th. This squad needs a lot of change and improvement. Gollini, Emerson, Rodon, Sanchez, Requillon, Winks, Moura, Bergwijn plus maybe even one or two other can be upgraded. Thinking we've cracked it would be back to 2016, 17, 18 and this team isnt a patch on those years.
Dier and Davies are pretty much good enough for me, we should let go Lucas, Berwijn and Royal for sure, Rodon, Reguilon and Sanchez depends. But for sure we need a CM, a RW and a RWB. If the opportunity to upgrade on LB and CB we should do business as well.
Great player but I always thought by the time he'd want to leave Milan that he'd get scooped up by a top tier club before we could. Feel like he's out of reach for us but would love to be wrong. Legitimately has the skills to replace Son or Kane when they retire or move on.

Clearly Davies and Dier are good players in Conte's system. I'd like someone a bit better in the air than Davies and would have him as a backup player. I think Dier will keep his spot.
But all the wingbacks are fair game, as are the likes of Winks, Lucas, Bergwijn, Sanchez, Rodon.
I also think we could do better than the pair in centre midfield at the moment, I think they are both more squad player level than first choice.
If Conte is given the backing, we can challenge for the title in my opinion.

I00% we should look to upgrade our wingbacks and we could do with more creativity centrally.
However, we need bench players snd Stevie , Lucas, Davidson have all performed well when called upon?
