Definitely the hallmarks of a Conte team, players like Perisic, Bissouma, Richarlison - all good very reliable footballers, all strong and powerful, all direct runners.
Bissouma is so perfect for us. He's the kind of midfielder who can thrive in two-man midfield while outnumbered by oppostion 3 man midfield.

Hard to disposses, plenty of speed, strength and ability to tackle, and stamina to run up and down the pitch.

Fact he can join the attack is a big bonus too.

I think we'll use that formation more depending on opposition but there's no way we are abandoning the 3-4-3 at all.

Agreed. I think with the 5 subs & much better options throughout the squad we'll see 3-4-3 more often yet use a 3-5-2 when its tactically needed.

This is obviously me stating that, with absolutely zero coaching badges or knowledge of the inner workings of Conte's brain. But it seems elementary to assume

Getting Bissouma, Spence, Perisic and hopefully Eriksen done before pre-season puts us in a really strong position for the opening day.

Even if the the Bastoni/LCB and Richarlison deals take a longer to go through.

My guess if we get Eriksen we will play 352 against the like of City, Scousers, and the blue scum. Play a low block so we don’t get overwhelmed in the midfield and as soon as we regain possession Kane and Son will be on their bikes for Eriksens pass.
