I would be open to a pay-as-you-play/when fit contract. Bale's main focus this season will be to keep himself fit for the World Cup, and he'll do "anything" to avoid being injured for that competition.

We can only be considering this because he is home grown at the club he is no longer fit enough to play for a Conte side anything more than an impact sub.

I agree. I’m half american so would’ve loved another one at spurs. I’m just not sure he is a known quantity for PL football and the level we are looking at. Our task is to buy players who almost guarantee us closing the gap on the top 2

As far as I’m aware, he’s had an offer from us, Man Utd and two European teams. Obviously Brentford too, but that’s seemingly not happening. The ball’s in his court now, it’s hard to guess what he’ll decide!
