Foot Mercato claim Lens want a similar price to the one Newcastle spent to sign Bruno Guimaraes for their midfielder Seko Fofana – amid reports that the Ivory Coast international is a target for Newcastle and Tottenham.

Fofana, 27, has enjoyed a stellar 2021-22 campaign. Clocking up 41 appearances for Lens and captaining them in 35 of those matches, he has scored 10 goals from midfield. He has also laid on two assists for Lens.

Reports claim that Newcastle and Tottenham are among the clubs looking to land Fofana, along with Leicester and Aston Villa. Now, reports from FM state that Lens want a big price for their most-prized asset.

Indeed, they want a similar fee to the one that saw Newcastle land Bruno. The Brazilian cost the best part of £40million and FM say that deal has lead them to value Fofana in the region of £30million to £34million.

LENS WANT BRUNO PRICE FOR NEWCASTLE AND TOTTENHAM TARGET FOFANA
The former Manchester City midfielder would be a superb signing. In an ever-improving Ligue 1, scoring 10 goals from midfield in a side that might have been worried about a relegation scrap is excellent.

Lens defied pre-season expectations to finish as high as seventh place. But for all their brilliant work last season, they have failed to get European football – and the financial reward that comes with it.

It means they may now have to cash in, in order to bring in some more players and continue to grow. Fofana might be sacrificed in order to allow Lens to sign two or three players. £30million is expensive, but understandable.

Doubt this happens after the bissouma signing

Probably already been said, but I wouldn't be surprised if we are keeping our business under the radar now, especially after the Diaz debacle.

Bissouma came out of nowhere, only paper links were made. I think we'll sign a couple by the start of pre-season, and won't know about it until a day or two before it's confirmed.

massive fraud but there is a lot on here who lap his shit up its embarrassing .

"If Romano says it, it must be true"

Because he waits for at least half a dozen other journo's with actual information and contacts, to report it.
And when he thinks they're all confident, he then says it as if he's breaking the news.

I think after the Diaz fiasco our deals will be pretty much out of nowhere now. Leaks can't happen.

So Ali Gold video today making it quite clear Spurs have gone cold on Eriksen and have done for a few weeks.
Which so called ITK's claimed this one was all wrapped up? Can they be gassed now?

It just sounds like we made him a good offer of what we thought he was worth to pay and then he went on holiday and hasn't come back yet. When he does we will find out if he wants to come or not. It does sound from that video that we may well be not as bothered as first thought. But then Gold goes on to say how much Conte and Paratici love him as a player.

I think just simply nobody knows, and anyone who says they do, is just guessing. Probably best to just ignore the noise on this one now and wait and see.

We have a cap of 25 players at the moment. We do have to think about whether at this stage of Eriksens career, he should get one of those spots.
My brutal opinion is - yes. If it keeps him out of Man United's squad.

ITK'S having a meltdown on sc

threatening to not post because people are questioning them
Just went there and searched Trix's posts. Apparently Eriksen may or may not be coming to Spurs. Cheers, mate!
But he made a funny when commenting on the England game...

To make matters worse there was more fan trouble again tonight, similar to what we saw at the Euro finals with thousands of England fans rushing the turnstiles. Apparently they couldn't get out fast enough.
