People who are turning their noses up at Lenglet might want to look at Bentancur and Kulusevski as an example of players who made it work at Spurs coming off the back of poof form, you just gotta trust the club and Conte on this one and not over-react just because the players are coming off bad seasons, we know how quick things can change,

Yep, Lenglet wouldn’t be my first choice but will give the guy a chance.

If the quoted financials are true (no loan fee, only 5m salary of his 6m), it’s really a win win. Also convinced we will get another CB.
 
I know as much about Lenglelet as did about Bentancur and Kulu. 2 players who attracted almost as much hate from Juve and Spurs fans as this guy is getting from Barcelona and Spurs fans.

They didn't work out too bad, did they.

To be fair , when he was at Seville he looked pretty good , it just hasn’t worked out for him at Barca . Being a loan if it doesn’t work out we can move on when the right man becomes available

It's much more likely that Chelsea get one of de Ligt or Kounde than we get Bastoni or Gvardiol.

Atm we're looking closely at Lenglet loan. No one at de Ligt or Kounde level.

One thing I agree with you on vs Deuterz Deuterz is that I don't think the gap in midfield is big in Chelsea's favour. Similar level. Bissouma Bentancur is a good combination, Skipp Hojbjerg have defensive qualities... I think Jorginho is overrated while Kante is clearly declining.

Would say De Ligt is overrated now , definitely not reached the level everyone thought he would (so far)
 
Can anyone tell me what level of transfer window anguish we are at currently - and also last date for going into total meltdown?

Also any dates for the march to WHL for the ceremonial burning of Levy effigy's and season tickets

I'm actually pretty relaxed (I'll be almost horizontal if/when we complete the deals for Richarlison and Spence).
