I would guess he’s midfielder #5 and unless we get someone like eriksen, we are done in midfield.
maybe for pre-season for Conte to see him, but nothing suggests he would merit a first team place as yet, so likely loaned out next season ?
And yet he was still twice the player ndombele was for us.
There was a game we lost at Wembley to Leverkausen where he was astonishingly bad.
But after that game against Palace he put in a fair few top performances and, for a while was a big miss if he wasn't in the team.

No idea if this is true, but saw it last week. Surprised if it actually is, but would certainly go against perception. Mine included.
I said subsequently that his errors get forgotten if they don't lead to a goal on many occasions. Good save by Lloris or a miss by the attacker. It's also subjective what an error is and when and when not it gets recorded.

What is true is that he was a big part of a defence that set a PL record for clean sheets.
I don’t think there’s any first team role for him, he’s still very young and he was not even a key player for a team that got relegated last season. He’s nowhere near ready.
I don’t really see why Lingard would come here. He could barely get a sniff at United and with all our attacking players it would even worse for him here. I can only see him coming if we sell Lucas.
Neither is Kulu. Playing in a front 3 on the right doesn't make him a right winger.
This window as the potential to be the very best ever of the Enic era. Until July is easily the best. And we are not spending the money of selling one of our best players. A big plus.
