I don't think we'll get Maddison but I think we'll bring maybe one or two more in, depending on outgoings. It's simplistic to say but if Conte is happy then so am I. The balance and experience of the squad now looks really good.
I've only seen him in a couple of inters but he seems strong and a good passer.

Both Gold and Paul O’keef have said attacking midfielder is next and whilst they didn’t say he’s definitely the one, they have pointed out about needing more homegrown. We have been linked. What other decent and potentially available homegrown CAM can you think of? I think Maddison would be a fantastic signing if true
Honest question, do other clubs struggle so much with their HG quota?
I know Man City buy up alit of English players, but that's cos they can afford bloated, English prices...
But are Chelsea and Liverpool, and Utd's squads brimming with HG players, cos it always feels as if they have plenty of foreign talent at their disposal without having to 'balance the books' each season, and worry about HG players over foreign ones....
Maybe it's the same feeling that EVERY fan has about their own club... Bit like the 'bias' argument....

I reckon Conte pointing will become as popular as Poch with his arm round a new signing.
He hasn't, but against the two PL clubs Nottingham Forest played in the FA Cup (Leiectser, and I forget the other one!) he acquitted himself really well....
