If he can be bagged for 50m it makes much more sense than the other names we're being linked with (Depay, Zaniolo, Paquetta).

Fair point but a few young English and Scottish guys have gone abroad and been bought back for mega bucks.
Kane wore an Woolwich shirt, Doherty was a gooner etc.
He was a poor man Grealish about 2 seasons ago, he has dramatically upped his game since then, he pretty much carried Leicester the last half of last season.
I don't care about the Spurs hate.

I think the forum was (and remains) pretty split as to whether they rate Grealish. Regardless, Madison had an excellent year last year.

Again........ I think the forum was (and remains) pretty split as to whether they rate Grealish.
I think they're both on a similar level, personally. They're good players with big egos but maybe not good enough to back up that ego if they step up a level. I think Maddison's style is more balanced though, Grealish is all about the 'give me the ball and let me dribble' which suits a Villa but less so a City.
I do think people underrate how good Grealish was in that final Villa season. Everything went through him, he was creating chances left, right & centre for them. It's just whether he was simply a big fish in a small pond or not.
