His shitness, and let's not try to make out he has been anything other than shit at Chelsea, might well be down to profile and fit both with Manager and Player etc. I think he at least did enough at Ajax to demonstrate that within that team's style and set-up his profile was perfect.

But does beg the question of whether (assuming the links are genuine) how the fuck his profile would be a good fit in Conte's system. If we played like Ten Hag's Ajax then we should be all over him, but we don't, not even remotely close.

  • £51m transfer fee, plus agents fees etc. Unlikely
  • Currently earns £145k p/w so he's bound to want £200k p/w, that would put him on par with Harry and the joint top earner
On a side note I notice Skipp is only on £15kp/w... can that be right? Boy needs to get fit and a new contract if that's the case. Also notice Dier is quite low down the table...

Twitter/online fans are genuinely the worst, they are self entitled spoilt brats - thing is they don't believe half the shit they come out with because a lot of their rants are for reactions, attention seeking and engagement.

It's why I don't believe a lot of that Levy out stuff online because people love to hide behind their computers and spew bullshit like this but when it comes to the crunch there nowhere to be seen at the protests.

The only way to play that front 4 is to drop a CB and go 433 really.
Which in and games I'm all for.
Otherwise I'd stick to 343 and have Kane and Kulu alternate dropping into CM to make up the numbers and supply eachother.
I like the idea of fluid tactical changes in match, with no need for personnel changes.

no, I didn't mean 'worth' clearly he's ones of the best signings in years, but I seem to remember the purchase option being around €30m, but someone said the other day it was €45m. That would have made that purchase one of our largest on a player that was struggling at Juve... sounds high no?

Wasn't it €45m for the pair of them?
