In a 3 man midfield and Romero behind him, I like the idea.

All I know is from now on we should go 3-5-2, even if that means sacrificing Richy and/or Kulu.
 
We were poor for large periods of the game but still won 6-2 cannot wait to see what we do when we hit form. Son was fantastic and his first 2 goals were brilliant

Always used to be the case that Son went in and out of purple patches - he'd just managed to gradually become more consistent leading to last season's golden boot.

The start of this season had all the hallmarks of one of those old 'off' periods. He'll be flying now.

Hell, I bet the finish for that second goal only happened coming off the confidence boost from the first.

Yeah the first half was all over the shop, very open. Feels strange being 2nd when we've really only been on it for 2 or 3 halves of football so far this season. The 3 in the middle has to be the call against Woolwich.

We had some major problems in that game though. Conte might be considering more 532 since we played much better with the 3 centre mids and you can't get a better strike pair than Kane and Son.

I think we would struggle to break down deep lying teams and Kane and Son would wear out. But if Conte had made that change on Tuesday we'd have got a point so I definitely want more of it in second halves.

Dropping Son did him a favour obvs had a point to prove fresh legs Vs tired players you get that.

The Bissouma change also helped massively we looked so much more comfortable in that 3-5-2 the 3-4-3 great against the lesser teams. But despite being bottom these lot have some decent midfielders and they dominated the ball until we had 3 men in there

Feels like that Son hattrick could be a bit of a turning point performance wise for us. We clearly needed a bit of a rocket up the arse and hopefully that scintillating Son performance is it.
