Manager Antonio Conte

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Doesn’t matter who comes in, the players are the problem. Like Conte said, another couple of transfer windows. Going to need patience, massively frustrating as it is.

Conte is a good manager. His record speaks for itself.

But this group of players obviously don’t suit his system. So we either fully commit and give him what he wants or find a manager who either promotes a brand of football that the team will take to or find someone who is able to adapt to the players available to him.

Knowing Levy it’ll be the latter. I also can’t imagine Conte will be keen on hanging around when Juventus is the alternative.

Levy has bought in a DOF who sees Conte's vision and spent a good £170m in two windows to back him.

Conte says he needs another 3/4 windows to sort this shit out.

So why would Levy think of pulling the plug right now despite our good position in the league?

Thing is everyone is spending that. £170m is to stand still, that is the current nature of this league, money wise it’s fucked up. If we want to go beyond our competition we will need to go £250-300m.

Yes, I am sure Conte is living above a kebab shop on the Tottenham High Road. Seems legit.

yeah yeah yeah, i remember the same things being said last season when we lost games.

Yeah yeah yeah, I remember when we were going to beat United, or bounce back against Newcastle, or push on this season.

And we did drop out of the top 4 last season. We just scraped it back towards the end. None of which has anything to do with the shit we’re seeing now after a full pre season and signings.

Conte was never longterm. I like the guy but he does have this air about him that he thinks hes too good for Spurs and he’s says it in his roundabout ways. Was never a good fit for Spurs because he wont get the luxury of getting his exact players. And it wont be long before he starts threatening to quit again if the downhill spiral continues.

Weve played dogshit all season and now the luck of the result is wearing out

At this point we are so out of ideas that I dont see the problem with bringing back Pochettino. At the very least the football wont be this boring and we will be playing attacking football again. What do we have to lose? Weve been rudderless ever since he left.

Stating that we could (not will) lose before every damn game; doesn't make you a sage.... You do realise that? It doesn't even mean you've found enough conviction to make an outright prediction.

Here we go. You know exactly that I am right and that our issue is mentality more than it might understandably be down to our style of play.

More importantly Conte will have to balance anger and frustration with sending the right message for Wednesday.

He will be fcuking frustrated and might just demonstrate thati n his team selection..

Time for him to deal with his first big test, which I say because of how tough we had looked to beat up to Wednesday's firsr of two big tests.

I said at the beginning of the two games between the 3 teams, any thing less than 3 points would be poor. Well....0

Third in the league and people crying out for his head? Wow, tough crowd.

Conte is the very least of our problems.

Disappointing week, but we are still in a good position to kick on, both in the PL and in the CL

Yes, but we 0 points in the last two games is poor.

We need to win Wednesday and then regroup.

Get to the World Cup break in the top 4 or 5 and it's fine but these losses are painful.

Conte has a challenge and let's hope he is up for it. If he is he will drop players who are not doing what they should at this stage.
