Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Can moan about VAR all we like but if we think we have any business in this competition we shouldn't be toiling away needing to throw the kitchen sink at Portugal's 4th best side in the 95th minute at home...

One of the easiest CL groups I can ever recall and we look likely to go out, because like fuck are we getting a result away to the mighty Marseille...
All true but you dont want to be fucking robbed though

They’re saying Kane was offside when Royal headed it

Disgusting
WHAT A FUCKIN SCANDAL!!!

Watching the replays after the game, Emerson AT LEAST a yard further forward than Kane when he heads the ball!!!!

The VAR-ref must be a Gooner, the game is so fucking corrupt it´s mental!

The football authoritys is killing my love for the sport. If we are to continue with VAR we can´t have corrupt supporters as VAR-refs.

why didnt the ref go and look
AFAIK he can't just do that. If VAR is unable to determine whether his decision is a clear and obvious error, then VAR will refer him to the pitch-side monitor to verify or change his own call.

In this case, VAR had two positions: offside by looking only at little lines or onside by looking at the game and recognizing that Kane was played on-side by the defender. Obviously (to me) there was disagreement in the VAR booth - or at least very considerable doubt. Should have referred it.

We still might have got the bad side of the decision but at least the ref would have been the arbiter. Which is the way it should be.

We didn't lose out because VAR made a wrong decision. We lost 2 points because we didn't show up for the game in the 1st half. Oh and SPL could have drilled another 2 past Lllllllloris if their sub had not been auditioning to play for Spurs.

Edited to add: and if you don't "agree" you could at least explain what part you don't agree with. The way VAR referrals to the ref go? Or that they should have turned it back to him? or that Kane was played onside? or that we didn't show up for the first half? or that SPL could easily have won 1-3?
