Match Olympique de Marseille VS Tottenham Hotspur. Tuesday 1st November. UEFA Champions League. 8PM KO

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I’m not very optimistic because the players have shown this season that they are easily intimidated and unsettled when they play away from home. Every single away game this season we have been timid and easily bossed around, this would be a great game to start changing that but I don’t really see it.

I don’t know what’s happened to them but the 11 little mice I saw running around in the first 45 yesterday didn’t bear any resemblance to the lads who gave Liverpool a bloody nose at Anfield last season.

We need to take the brakes off I think. Our best form of defence is attack so just let the players play because this sitting back waiting for the ball isn’t working. This is going to be a tough game in a hostile stadium, we just need to get on with it.

Oh so we only need a draw ? I thought we had to win . I wouldnt bother playing Kane or son in this . I’d play loris and a back 10
I want Kane on for the whole match in case we get an injury time pen we have to score for the draw.

Otherwise I’ll be hiding behind the sofa in case Emerson grabs the ball because he won the pen. :contefacepalm:

As Tottenham supporters we all know this will not be easy or comfortable with the game in the balance until the final whistle. By far the most important game left before the world cup and Kula, Richie and Romero should all be at least on the bench. If they get injured then it is better we cope without them for the remaining 3 matches than not give it our best shot. Even if they are not brought on, it will give the French something to think about and we can name so many subs.
We were controversially knocked out last season and if after that VAR decision we go out that would be 2 years running we went out controversially.
I hope we stay strong and do not give away a silly goal or lose a player sent off.

I really wanted to go to this, but reluctantly decided against it. At this stage, just want to get through to the next round. Yes, we should be there already, but we very rarely do things easily.
