Match Tottenham Hotspur vs Liverpool | 6 Nov 2022 | KO 16:30 | Second Half Match Thread

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

As I have said for the last FIVE games. Why don’t we start with this intent? It will end up costing our season only deciding to play when chasing. That’s the difference between us and the likes of City and Woolwich.

Spare me the second half plaudits.

We deserved nothing. It takes zero courage to fight back. There’s no pressure. The opposition drop deep. It’s easy to go down swinging.
Not to mention folks get carried away with recency bias and forget about just how shit we were in the first halves of these games. Some out here talking 'bout we deserved all 3 points as if they shouldn't have been ahead by more than 2 if htey were a bit more clinical.

We're like a boxer turning it up in the last 30 seconds of a round to fool the judges.

Sigh. Anyways I had a good time chatting and stuff with you guys.
1. Conte: stop with the defensive 1st half.
2. Dier: I have no words.
3. Royal: fuck off.
4. How are sess and royal an upgrade on aurier nd Reggie?
5. Conte: stop the ultra defensive shit and wasting 45 mins.
I also have enjoyed watching with everyone.

On points 1 and 5, the injuries are/have destroyed our attack and counter. An interesting latent effect is the growing solidity in midfield. Bissouma, Benta, Hoj are looking better.

Completely agree with your other points.

We've got so many dumb players at our club, absolute boneheads with no brains

Frustrating result cause Liverpool are shit, setup wrong against them and gave them their goals.

Ref was fucking shite as well and I don't really complain about refs.

As we have seen many times before, with Woolwich, Chelsea and utd, even if they are not playing well. Soon as they play us it all changes and they come alive.
I'm going for a draw at the very best today, hopefully avoid another Newcastle result.
And there you go, as I said pre match, we always get teams back on track when they have been struggling.
Too many defeats in the last few league games, nowhere near good enough and so nothing ever changes.
Two home defeats in a row, both times 2-0 nil down, suggests we have serious problems both tactical and motivational.
Still we have a wonderful stadium and that is the most important thing.
