So fucking disappointing. This 2nd half shit needs to stop, we can't gift 45 minutes of barely contested play to the opposition every fucking match. And this Emerson Royal shit also needs to stop, he has to be dropped ffs.

Spurs fans who boo will turn the club and fanbase toxic and that's one of my biggest fears because it creates a narrative in the media that the 'fans arn't happy' despite the majority being fully on board with what Conte is trying to achieve.

I was so envious of how the Marseille fans we're bouncing together as one, and can only dream of that kind of fan unity at Spurs.

The Ultra fan concept is definitely a European thing, and the only club that comes close in the EPL, is Crystal Palace. Even they have been watered down, due to a row with the club about seats/tickets . I guess it's just not the English thing to do.
 
There was a period of play after donkey Diers cock up that firstly, Hugo decided to make an unforced error...then Lenglet tried to dribble out the Pen area...and to top it all off Davies made an error which nearly led to a goal.
It's like they didn't want Dier to feel bad so all decided to be donkeys in tribute to him.
 
On the booing, I get we are frustrating at the moment but does it help the team? Surely we should be doing whatever we can to improve our chances of winning?

I sit third row right behind the goal in the south stand and there were people screaming at Dier about how shit he is. I appreciate the sentiment but abusing our own players during the game when they can 100% hear you is not on and not helpful

It's simple really.

We didn't bother pressing today or any day for that matter because our defence has no speed.

We can't push up and compress the pitch because our defence doesn't have the pace to recover. Our midfield sat on top of the back 5 to help cover them.
I lost count how many times in the first 15 mins, a simple long ball over the top and Liverpool were behind our defence.

Conte adjusted by telling them to drop deep. So we took away that long ball option, but then the pattern of play was to get in shape and we just allowed Liverpool to knock it about, hence 36% possession in the first half and 0 shots on target from us.
There's a moment in the first half where van dijk miss controlled the ball and it went for a throw to us. I went absolutely ballistic in that moment. A throw in to us in the opposition half and we had our defence on the edge of our box and the midfield standing on the halfway line. Nobody wanted to push up and press Liverpool.
We normally see in a 352 Hojbjerg and Bentancur press higher. Today they just sat back to babysit our dopey defenders.

I was criticised on here a few weeks ago for saying we should switch to back 4 instead of a 5 because people thought we'd be too open. But fuck off, if you've got defenders prone to brain farts then surely logic dictates you have as few of them as possible on the pitch.

We are conceding goals with 3 CBs but more importantly its hindering our forward options. Just fuck this idea off now. You can't keep conceding 2 goals a game with 5 defenders because we don't have the attacking options to score 3 goals to win.

The first goal conceded is a joke. Classic case of having men back but all doing nothing. Liverpool players with all the time and space to do what they want.

Nah. Not having this bullshit 'the fans are to blame' narrative being pushed. They shit themselves 10x more in front of away crowds. That disgusting Manchester United performance is the prime example of that, far from exceptional opposition but a big away ground had our lot cowering.

We've got some players who aren't good enough to wear the shirt & the fans are expressing their frustration at that.
