Match Another pissing game we won’t turn up to, have to suffer Emerson again and hope Kane or Deki save us - AKA Leeds at home, 3pm, 12th November.

This club is going to kill me one day.

Let's not kid ourselves, most of that was pretty poor. When we got our second equaliser I thought we'd push on but to my horror Leeds were the only team pushing forward and it wasn't a surprise when they went ahead again.

But great heart and desire by the team to somehow win in the end. Can't fault that certainly.

Build a team around Bentancur and Deki and we can go places. Clear out some if the obvious deadwood and move on. This is the fork in the road. What do you say Levy, Parataci and Antonio?

We pushed forward throughout. But that then leaves the defence to actually defend, and they can't think we now know why Conte sets up as he does. Back 4 is a must with these players. All it took was long balls. It was so easy.

This fucking club. Honestly.

That was me at half time !

If we can match the quality of players that we signed last January ( Deki and Bentancur ) in this January window , we will definitely be going places . To sort out that defence and get a quality RWB are an absolute must . To be heading into the WC break in at least 4th place with what Conte has available is quite extraordinary . Todays win was massive . COYS
IMO it's realistic to get De Vrij and Pedro Porro in Jan. They wouldn't even have to be very good to seriously elevate our team.

Both should be fairly cheap, and then in the summer we can go again if they fail to live up to expectations.

Ramsdale should be the England choice. Not amazing either but good with his feet + at least having a solid season.

And yeah, agreed. France have the best squad but think Brazil or Argentina's team spirit + great squads of their own win over .. and I also expect Uruguay to be the dark horse.
Brazil have picked Fred so they're a man down in the squad before they start. Bizarre choice.

What was confirmed today?

There's a pony in there somewhere

Conte's plan to have an impenetrable defense as foundation is looking great! That's the ticket

Kulu is the spark-plug we've been missing - he may not be able to dribble a ball past two bollards but he's good for one

Bentangle is actualizing his potential after some uneven trips. Getting better at passing the ball to a team mate rather than the opp. Goals!

Richarlistiff is as useful as tits on a bull. But that's nothing new.

Time for another Royal Funeral

New word: Dierja-vu

Lloris is due for a replacement, a testimonial and three cheers, bon voyage

At the start of the last minute, Kane anticipated a defense move, ran to the man and stole the ball - and that kind of spatial football sense is what made his past work with Son so immense. With Kulu back on the pitch, Kane is sharper (but see Richfargling above)

Lenglet - jury's out and perhaps he should be too

Son - like Lucas, we'd love it if he came good again. But the second half of the season might be their last here.

Gil - needs to learn how to pronounce "G" and needs more time on the pitch.

The good old days are good and gone now.
That's why they're good.
Because they're gone.

Disagree with this to an extent.

Dier had a very strong start to the year, to the point where he genuinely looked excellent in the CCB role.

Over the past month though he's fallen apart, and it's not helped he's been playing RCB lately given Romero's absence.

He went from very good to very poor quite quickly. It all changed the moment he had his first individual fuckup against Frankfurt at home.
Ever since he got engaged.....
