To be fair to Conte, he knows we're not good enough. I believe he knows, or believes he knows, that he can fix it and it will take time.
The problem could be (???) all the players that are around the squad that know they aren't in his plans.
That kind of negativity and complacency can spread through a group like a virus.
Especially if a player not wanted is good mates with a starter.

Really? Over Lloris? First goal was 100% down to Lloris. 2nd goal both Kane (lost possession very cheaply) and Bissouma (let the goal scorer run past him without even looking to see if anyone could pick him up and gave him a clean run on goal) were more culpable than Romero.
No but he was pretty passive , he obviously wasn't totally to blame but neither was Dier.
Watch how passive Romero was.
So were about 15 players on the pitch. But the keeper spilt a very easy to save ball into the danger area. I know who I blame for it.
I'm not blaming Romero, I didn't blame Dier either. It's whether he or they could have done better.
Romero stood frozen in front of the pass for the second goal, he could have closed down. For the first goal he again watched on half heartedly.
Your genuinely not allowed to point this out but I gave my ticket to a Watford fan and his lad said he was not as good as they expected and said he seems to tune out.
I think next to a older competent centerback like Matip he will be fine. But there are some frankly embarrassing posters bigging him up in way that does not match his contribution in anyway shape or form and giving him a glass bauble pre game was fucking small time cringe.
