100% agree on the manager part but flip flopping between how they view the owners based on about 7 months difference is abit silly because they aren't just going to leave. It's much easier to change a manager than owners.Surely it’s expected to be different?
Football is a results business. Managers get fired when results change, right?
Nope, not crying.Cry more because your overlords aren’t popular any longer.
See? I can call people out for crying too. Good fun.

You must be a fair age. I’m 42 and started supporting spurs in 87 and I’ve seen a grand total of 3 trophies![]()
Buck stops with LevyENIC have their way in the transfer market that does make thing difficult at times but most of the blame has to go to who has been identifying the players we have brought in the last 3/4 years
I started supporting us the same year and I’m fed up of it all. That’s why I’ve sold my soul for the sports washed money and have no qualms about saying it. I pay thousands of pounds a year for a season ticket for what feels like no real point.
I don’t tolerate the level of failure in any other aspect of my life other than the one Spurs give me and I’m fed up of it. Almost as fed up as reading the same thing in here by the same people every transfer window.
Bring me the new money. Then I can read from the same people moaning why they haven’t spent £500 million every window. Because they will.

If you remember the FA cup you should remember 2 league cups.3?
I can remember an FA Cup and a league cup.
You counting the Audi cup?
It doesn’t, ENIC own spurs and Joe Lewis owns the majority of ENIC
This is a little off topic, but in fairness this is spot on.That’s true but the underlying model of ownership looks stale which is the biggest issue. We look like we are operating on the pitch like it’s the 00’s with short term opportunist transfer policies, world has changed. Where once we looked forward thinking we now look outdated, we are like New Labour.
The club has two choices in my view.
1 sell to Qatar or a big investor which means we can afford the players Conte needs for quick results.
2 don’t sell but go down the Brighton/Dortmund model and buy top quality young players, with a elite project manager and top draw scouting which is a long term view.
The current Cheque book manager with a limited cheque book which forces opportunism as the mode will leave us 4-8th on a repeated cycle. Without change at the top we are just going round in circles.

All the transfer spend stuff has little effect on my perception of ENIC, you can buy loads of different players in and they can amount to nothing, see Chelsea.
The ENIC problem is no one can tell you what their view is, are they going to back Conte to the hilt? Because when they hired him, they knew they weren't hiring a kindly patient coach with a 5 year plan, they were buying a monster who would demand ready made players and go if he didn't get what he wants, which is unlike any other manager they hired, Mourinho possibly the exception but his stock was low at the time we hired him.
Point is ENIC like project managers, they liked AVB, Poch, the type of manager who would be undemanding and work to a schedule and be undemanding on transfer funds. Which I can almost accept when we're playing good football and there's clear progression. With Conte, it just makes it look like we're careering between different extremes and there's not a clear vision as to what ENIC really want to achieve out of the club.
That, to me, is the reason I want them out, I don't understand what they're trying to turn us in to and under Conte, the quality of football we're playing just isn't particularly fun to watch. They've basically ran out of ideas.
Yeah don’t disagree with you in theory but in practice it’s always going to be that way.100% agree on the manager part but flip flopping between how they view the owners based on about 7 months difference is abit silly because they aren't just going to leave. Yep.The on the pitch vision has always been my issue. We are spending more, spending was a huge issue during the Poch era but there is some cash now. We have a clear off the pitch vision but little on the pitch. Levy is an economist and we look like we are run by an economist in every way for good and bad.
Yeah completely fair opinion.Yeah don’t disagree with you in theory but in practice it’s always going to be that way.
Tbh I’m not fully ENIC out. Not a fan of City buying the Prem and never wanted Spurs to go that way. The whole project under Poch was more like Dortmund and compete with less until the new stadium. Whole club felt together at that time.
Now the stadium is here, we have gone the big club model on manager hires and ticket prices but not transfers. That’s my opinion. People disagree with me, that’s fine. What’s not debatable is that until we win we are a pretend big club. Can ENIC deliver? History says no.
This is perhaps more where I'm at. I don't think we exist in the world of extreme 'having a poster of levy at home' or 'finding every non Tottenham Hotspur game event at the ground is a spit in the face of the real fans', all bollocks!Yeah don’t disagree with you in theory but in practice it’s always going to be that way.

You are the platonic form of a shit fan on the internet.Don’t tell people they’re crying because they’re venting in a transfer window and you won’t get mocked. Simple.
I’ll call anyone an apologist who tries to have a go at other fans for being frustrated at no transfers, and I’ll be right.
I don't think we exist in the world of extreme 'having a poster of levy at home'.....
I’m on the same boat as long as we are not taken over by an Abramavic type.
It’s going to happen sooner or later spurs are primed for a takeover we have everything in place to become a huge winning club we just need investment in top players year after year
