Difficult to understand
Agree with a lot of what he says until something like this.
It should not be difficult to understand why fans are not happy. Our style is very different than other top teams. Many stats out there like field tilt show that. Does the club not have any analysts?
I get his point, but it is the league standard.
It's not just at Spurs that it is almost exclusively the manager that faces the press. It is the same at all clubs.
The UK just has a very different footballing culture in that regard compared to the continent, where sporting directors, club execs or owners are the ones doing most of the talking.
The club, as far as I know, has an entire department doing analytics that Paratici was put in charge of putting together.
The thing is I can totally see Conte completely ignoring it if it suits him. Or he only looks at individual player analysis like how many miles that Son covers in training or something like that.

Cos that's the way it is over here......... OK, so he claims that for every game, the DOF & medics come out and talk (I'll take it at face value for now)....... Is it like that in Spain, France, Germany, Netherlands, Portugal too?

How many clubs in those leagues can afford to pay you 15m a year?
