welcome, and good night.
I agree on what you said after.
Doesn’t mean I don’t think it’s a good idea to hear from the club, medical team and game officials more regularly
Joe Lewis (the guy with the dosh!) = 0%
..........Now there's a plot-twist.
Thing is we don’t need to know.Strong point that.... Sadly we'll never find out for sure what he's demanding vs what he's being offered.
........Is it cost effective (on and off the pitch)to haggle and fall out over the difference?
If not, then it speaks poorly of our vision. If it is a significant gap, then we've been wasting our time all along.
Levy expects top four teams. Not necessarily. Spurs is a tough job. We expect top 4 against teams that have more money. It’s like playing on super hard mode. And playing against pep, klopp, United’s endless bank… etc, it’s not easy.
He probably has realized he is not up to the task. And I can’t blame him because almost everyone isn’t.
Who said anything about changing formation "every single game" ?For this particular case, we probably got outnumbered in midfield, yes. I think some formations are struggling by their nature against others.
That doesn’t mean a manager has to change his formation every single game to negate the opposition’s strengths. At most you can make tweaks during the game if it’s really not working, but I would say most often than not, you’d want the opposition to worry about you, not the other way around.
Proof is that the same system performed last season at home against Woolwich. I don’t think Arteta had a revelation during pre-season and overwhelmed his tactics, did he?
Which, again, was my point
The man has lost the fucking plot.
Article on Sky saying he is now questioning why managers should face the media and not directors and physio's.
I get the feeling there is a some friction between him and Paratici/Levy.
But either way he's lost the plot, Just spouting absolute shite now to protect his own reputation. Just seems toxic, no wonder none of the players have a smile on their face.
Get rid asap
No he doesn’t. He literally said “oh we are playing fine. Don’t know what’s wrong”
He has a better team than he had the second half of last season and we are worse.
Can we criticize both?Imagine if we had done what we should of done and obvious to any fan with half a brain and we signed a world class right wing back to suit Conte's system and a couple of world class centre halves and a play maker. 4 players that would of made a difference. No chance a manager of Conte's calibre is happy with the like of Royal, Doherty, Sanchez, Dier, Davies and Sessegnon as his options. I don't believe that at all. If we had backed him properly and we were in the same position then I would get where those who are criticising Conte are coming from. Levy has done what Levy does once again and incredibly there are still fans blaming yet another manager in the dug out. When is it eventually going to hit home with some?!
Thing is we don’t need to know.
We need to know if the club have managed to get the coach on board or not.
As you said in another post, the time to work this out was during the WC. It didn’t get sorted and is now clearly detrimental.
Are you Daniel Levy by any chance? The man has lost the fucking plot.

He leaves tomorrow his reputation remains intact.
It only makes spurs look more of a joke and shines a spotlight on their true ambitions.
Oh he's a big ol childish diva. But you are 100% right. He has some minimum requirements. A solid fit for purpose Rwb lwb, and two centerbacks right and left of elite level. There's no point any other way. He is an incredibly system dependent coach if you can't provide for his system then don't hire him.Imagine if we had done what we should of done and obvious to any fan with half a brain and we signed a world class right wing back to suit Conte's system and a couple of world class centre halves and a play maker. 4 players that would of made a difference.
