UK has a culture of MANAGERS vs Europe a culture of head-coaches.
Thing is we don’t need to know.
We need to know if the club have managed to get the coach on board or not.
As you said in another post, the time to work this out was during the WC. It didn’t get sorted and is now clearly detrimental. The reason or excuse for why is irrelevant.
Club doesn’t care why you can’t afford your ticket or can’t pay for your pint in the bar.
Levy expects top four teams.
I want to see a team of players give their all, and play attractive and attracting football. That *should* and HAS upset the Apple cart before and got us in those positions.
Levy just wants it without paying over the odds now.
I agree with Conte that other club representatives could do press conferences as well. Not in place of but supplementary to Conte.

I get the feeling there is a some friction between him and Paratici/Levy.

Imagine if we had done what we should of done and obvious to any fan with half a brain and we signed a world class right wing back to suit Conte's system and a couple of world class centre halves and a play maker. 4 players that would of made a difference. No chance a manager of Conte's calibre is happy with the like of Royal, Doherty, Sanchez, Dier, Davies and Sessegnon as his options. I don't believe that at all. If we had backed him properly and we were in the same position then I would get where those who are criticising Conte are coming from. Levy has done what Levy does once again and incredibly there are still fans blaming yet another manager in the dug out. When is it eventually going to hit home with some?!
Tbf I would absolutely love Levy to be dragged out in front of the media and forced to explain himself in public, preferably while being pelted by tomatoes.

Conte for being inflexible, stubborn, not commiting his future to the club, making bizarre excuses every week and picking the same players that keep making mistakes over and over.
And Levy, for just generally being a cunt.
He leaves tomorrow his reputation remains intact.

These kinds of hard facts in circulation would mean a lot less of the fan-base at each other's throats and save them from the anguish of just guessing about what's at the route of the drama(s).
........Even if it's after the fact.
(Kinda moot though; cos it compromises financial/strategic ops to reveal to the oppo what cards you have or are about to play.)
It's not though.... Knowledge and understanding isn't something to just write off as "excuses" just cos you're not getting what you want..... That's no more than "I want a pony, damn-it!"-syndrome.

Oh he's a big ol childish diva. But you are 100% right. He has some minimum requirements. A solid fit for purpose Rwb lwb, and two centerbacks right and left of elite level. There's no point any other way. He is an incredibly system dependent coach if you can't provide for his system then don't hire him.
