Can he play with a brown-paper bag on over his head?

Cranston Cranston - whether I think you were being needlessly snarky or not; apologies for the name-calling.

Club rightly getting shit for the lack of plan or ability to win big trophies,

But have been making signings like this every window since Paratici came in. The scouting system has clearly improved.

Sarr, Gil, Spence, Udogie, Rodon, Scarlett… in 3-5 years these players have a great chance to be too quality Players.

Would be nice all the same to have a hg keeper and give us a bit more freedom in building the squad. If we can get Raya I think he's the clear #1 option, Chelsea and United interest could be problematic. Not as keen on Pickford or Henderson. Holding onto the likes of Tanganga because he's hg is a pain.
I hear you but the thing about Bouno is he's not a one tournament wonder. He was La liga keeper of the year last year. I think he is a better keeper than options here. Home grown issue can be sorted this way James Maddison, Ivan Toney, Max Killman.

I'd sell him to them for lower than you would expect from English team, £50M just that he goes elsewhere
I can't even see them offering that tbh. They sold Lewandowski to Barca for £23M, I suspect that what they offer won't be a huge amount more than that.

Germans but low and sell high, and I think it's highly unlikely they'll pay a high amount for a 30 year old with 1 year left on his contract, no matter how good he is. They'll be banking on us taking whatever we can before he goes on a free.

Unfortunately, I can only see us getting £50M+ from someone like Utd, and even they won't pay stupid money unless there's a bidding war.

No need to apologise. I was too quick to bite and I was being a prick. And I’be been called far, far worse.

We’re all wound up by this stupid fucking club at the moment.

To your question, it’s probably from listening to Simon Jordan reminisce about his days at Palace, I think they look at Spurs as a genuine rival and intensely dislike giving us players. It’s probably cultural- they can see why their players want Chelsea, but why us?

Seriously... Fuck off.

When pushed to accept rational analysis; you conceded that PEH is a decent enough option so FFS drop the over-zealous cuntery.

Maybe it's just me, but I don't recall much jealousy over Zhaka, Fred and the like.
Decent enough option from the bench against lower PL sides, which is a delta from his current standing whereby he starts every week and generally goes missing vs good players

I think 35 or 40m is definitely the ceiling

I don't think United even need him the way Rashford is playing.
