I noticed yesterday when the news broke about Kane being open to extending his contract with us, Sky Sports news then went with the headline
'theres uncertainty with Harry Kane contract situation'
If the media update from Ornstein would have been about going, I'm sure they would have had in a yellow ticker 'Harry Kane has said he wants to leave Tottenham' not 'uncertainty'.
As bad as things seem, I'd hate to think where we'd be without him.

Bale seemed even more key for spurs in his final season, had a hand in pretty much everything...
not really, that's just the common rose tinted perspective. He went on a great run of goal scoring form from christmas unward.
Defoe , dempsey and lennon contributed alot to that season
The one thing I will say is that, at least in my opinion, Bale has more of that X factor to him than Harry. Bale can just take over a game and win on his own. Especially in knock out games.
Kane has better ball control, better technique, better shots etc than Bale. But Kane still lacks that "fuck it, I'll do it by myself" mindset that Bale had. And it is especially noticeable in knockout cup games where Kane can be rather silent even if he plays a good game.
But Kane roasts Bale over a league season. He's perfect for league football.
