If it pays off who caresOr you could look at it this way, a cheap punt, because the club doesn't have to get behind the manager

I refuse to watch a single Youtube video on this guy ... I've been mis-sold far too many times before.
I do get the feeling this is a George N'Koudou level signing, though. I mean, who else was in for him? Everton who are bottom of the Prem and in dire straights ... forgive me if I don't start putting the bunting up just yet.
Would much rather we try and sort our horse shit defence out first.
No. but i've seen him play soccer...
Definitely think Danjuma is a better option than Zaniolo. It's crap, bargain basement signings like this that will drive Conte out. Why would any top manager stay when they get fucking Bournemouth rejects instead of Zaniolo?
Thought that was why we have richy....Maybe to fill in for the out of form Son? Or at least give Son something to worry about regarding his place in the 1st team.
Who was hurt, Kulu also been hurt, with Son out of form....we're left with Bryan Gil.
Been thinking about it and after seeing DiMarzio's comments on Conte's future, it really is a cheap option for the rest of the season and its probably a good idea not to be bringing in guys on a permanent deal that the new manager won't want.
You know that's an automatic ban right.
Definitely think Danjuma is a better option than Zaniolo.
It's only a loan and he's G/A over the last couple of years is far superior.
Just hope we would get at least one CB in and a new Keeper.
Cheap being the operative word....its the usual Levy last minute money grubbing....Who was hurt, Kulu also been hurt, with Son out of form....we're left with Bryan Gil.
I'm not arguing this is a transformational signing, or that it resolves our issues, not even close.
That doesn't mean it is bad business. Cheap loan with option to buy as cover for 3 players who have all been been hurt and/or out of form.
Well, obviously we will see how this one turns out. And I am not writing him off.
But it does make me worried that -
- we had 25 yo Netherlands NT winger with 28 caps and 7 goals... wasnt good enough. Now we bring in same aged player who has 6 caps and 2 goals;
- also he has hardly set any league on fire, except for Championship (22 goal involvements in 33 games)
- also... just 3 seasons ago (while being 22) he tried it in EPL. Didn't even make it as Bournemouth starting player and finished season with 625 minutes and 0 goals...
But he has done well in CL with 8 goal contributions with 13 games... though as mentioned, Lo Celso and Foyth were also shining in that same stage...
Biggest issue still with me is that - as some have mentioned - he does not feel like a purchase with strategy and plan. It has feel of opportunism to it - we went for available player that his club actively wants to move on. This approach has hurt us so many times over the past... but we'll see. Let's hope he'll be hit like Kulu and Benta!
I'd forgotten about thatRemember when everyone shit on the idea of rummaging through Juve's bargain bin for Kulu and Betancur?

Well that's what I used to think but he's not troubling Son's position, He seems more of a CF than a LW imo, I'd prefer to have Richarlison deputizing for Kane, when required. I think if Kane does decide to leave in the summer Richarlison will take his place.
If Conte’s future is over fine. Issue is we are putting squad development on hold, what’s the long term plan. I have zero idea what the football vision of this club is.
He did play well.
But not every player who plays well is worth £100 fucking million
Overpaid, and by a long way,
