Really hope the rumours of N'Dicka to Woolwich on a free in the summer are false. Should have been a no brainer for us. May have been a case of Conte insisting on Bastoni, and so not accepting alternatives (Badashile was available in the summer too, also linked but left on the shelf).
Sometimes the perfect is the enemy of the good. In N'Dicka's case wouldn't even have been a big financial risk given his contract situation.

I do say it's a shame for Gil though- he looked like he was just about to go a huge run of dishing out assists. That is pretty much over now and I'd surprised to see him get any serious minutes without more injuries.
Really hoping we can loan Gil AND Spence. I'd totally support selling Son too, and letting Danjuma and Richy battle for it, with Gil keeping the 5th attacker spot.
Ndicka would be less of a 'project' and is nicely experienced for his age.
He's really tall with a good leap too- it'd be nice to have a CB clearly dominant in the air for once.

This a is a long an intense season. we don't know how badly form and fitness is gonna get by the end of the season. Especially if we keep our cup runs going.
