I've never been Conte out but I just dont understand what I witnessed today.
Everything was awful from team selection, tactics, game management and subs.

Only 2/3 teams with a worse defence than us in the league, just not good enough.
 
Conte is off come end of the season. he has clearly checked out. Let him go now and get poch back. Can't possibly be more insufferable than this shit.

He doesnt really have any tactics, it's 3-4-3 and hope for the best.

His strength is having elite players willing to run through walls for him.
We have the likes of Tanganga, Dier, Forster, Sess etc and a whole load of others who are neither good enough or committed enough to follow his instructions.

I think he's a good manager but a bad fit for this club.

I think that's hit the nail on the head.
 
He has a single game plan and needs the best players and best squad to carry it out.

After that, he's got nothing.

Conte is tge stock definition of the term "cheque book manager"

And a manager who isn't willing to work out a system that gets the best out of them.

A good coach would look at what he has and figure out the best system to suit the players. Instead of ramming square pegs into round holes.

If we aren't the best in defence then maybe the smart move is to actively defend further up the pitch so as to not expose the defence too much. But that is probably too revolutionary for Conte.

Yeah, it's one thing to have a shit squad but the mistakes he makes are too stupid and too numerous.
