I think everyone is glad he is calling the board and players out, it needed to be said by someone

What people are annoyed about is his seemingly complete lack of acknowledgement that he has been dreadful for the majority of his time here

Playing one formation and tactic that exposes our average midfield and below average defence, continuing to play players completely out of form, not playing certain players because they were ‘club signings’, never making subs etc etc

he rested players but Sheffield united rested more. We lost to their second string team ffs.

Conte has done a lot wrong this season but he is completely right in his views. What other owner sack a manager a week before a cup final? that in itself tells us all we need to do about how much they value winning silverware.

Levy/Enic are absolutely toxic and I doubt anything changes whilst they're still at the helm (unless they miraculously have a change of heart and go all out).

Back to Conte, he is an absolutely infuriating egotistical man who has made numerous errors this season. I do want to know what the conversation is like when signing players like Danjuma and Spence is though. Initially I was annoyed at Contes stubbornness to play "club signings" but I cam imagine levy asking him if he wants the player...conte saying no...and us signing him anyway.

My guess is that the club sees the players as the most valuable assets and treats them appropriately. Would anybody be shocked if we found out that players were talking directly to the board/Levy and undermining the manager under all of the last 3/4 managers??

In all or nothing we saw an awful lot of players speaking directly with Levy, Rose was "I'm going to see Daniel" and Jose was all "go and see Daniel you fucking weapon".

I'm not sure if this is a normal practice in other clubs. 🤷‍♀️

conte is a dick, he is deflecting and this season (not last) he hasn’t been quite good enough.

However he is totally right in what he said about the players and the board. Conte is gone so there is no point focusing on him, the board and players are the ones that need to be looked at now.

Players at all times should be below the manager. PSG is the prime example of the player power circus, great talent but won’t ever do anything in Europe when Mbappe calls the shots.
 
Until yesterday I was all for giving Conte more time, but he needs to go now. Thinking back, I can’t recall a time where he said he was honoured to be here, or even happy to be here. I’d maybe take that if he was performing, but if the players are being lazy and selfish, it’s his fucking job to stop this happening.

I thought he had a plan. I thought it was taking time to get right. It appears I was wrong and he was doing fuck all.

Not a big decision to get rid now, but a huge decision to decide who’s next. And whoever it is needs major backing in the summer. Over to you Levy.

This sentence alone is just a prime example of the typical spurs fans delusion and sense of entitlement surrounding expectations towards our players. How can we seriously expect them to do this when their yearly wages hardly covers the cost of buying a fleet of Bugatti's?!

Swear to god if I hear “serial winner” mentioned in the next managerial hunt I’m going to do something, not sure what, I haven’t really thought that far ahead.


We’ve had two ‘serial winners’ who have got us no closer to winning a trophy, probably in fact further away. We were a dodgy handball decision away from champions league glory, and competed for the league twice on the trot under a manager who cared about the club more than his own reputation.

Give me a Poch over a Conte any day of the week.

Hi guys, hope you’re doing well. I’ve been having a look around social media following Antonio Conte’s press conference and can’t believe how many people think his outburst was justified. Even if much of what he had to say was true, his job is to find solutions, not air the problems which exist in the public domain. Thought I’d share my 2 cents as an outsider looking in, because as much as folk like to take the piss out of Tottenham, Conte’s self-serving antics warrant nothing but condemnation.

He’s a prick and needs to go but his outburst was spot on. He was only saying what most spurs fan have thought for ages.

I want Conte out for his shit tactics and crap use of subs, not because of what he said yesterday.

So kindly mind your own business.
 
Conte reminds me of a world war 1 general , sending his troops over the top into enemy fire and then moaning that they all got killed!
Yes I agree with some of the thing she said about the clubs and the players , however no one forced him to stick with this shit formation , it doesn’t work with these players so why hasn’t he changed it?
 
I think it is clear he is going. So, get rid today, get someone else in now.. We have the international break to allow them to get used to things and then 10 games to see what's what. Give them a summer transfer window to offload those they don't want and bring in new blood...

That is what should happen, but who knows with our lot in charge.
