Every manager is bothered by their own outcome.I’m not saying it has to be Poch, just a manger that wants to be at the club, who is willing to experiment and isn’t only bothered about their own outcome.

Yep it comes from ENIC.Not defending him and obviously want him gone but that Sheff Utd defeat has been happening for 4 years now wherby the team just dont turn up in the cups against lesser opposition. Palace and Colchester under Poch......Norwich, LASK and Zagreb under Mourinho..... Pacos and Vitesse under Nuno.....Mura, Boro and Sheff Utd under Conte. Its a pattern. Most of the players have changed, the managers have changed and yet it continues. Is it because all the players know top 4 is the target? A lazy culture throughout the club? Squad players thinking they can get the manager the sack? No real idea but this wont change by just appointing yet another new manager.
Yup. Agreed. Both are true.Looks at the game from yesterday , we go 3-1 up and we decide to dig in , 5/4/1 and just sit back and invite pressure , against the bottom of the league , surely the players don’t decide to do that for themselves?
I agree there are a lot of problems at the club however maybe if Conte wasn’t so stubborn with his subs and formations then we would be looking a lot better.
But then this goes against “X player needs to leave as he wants to win something”Not defending him and obviously want him gone but that Sheff Utd defeat has been happening for 4 years now wherby the team just dont turn up in the cups against lesser opposition. exactly. He never said that. He said that the club and the manager have to take blame but also the players.
I think the fault is with every single member of staff, the players and the owners.Do you see it as all his fault (agree he's gone btw)?
Or do you think maybe there is a culture at the club between the board and players that successive managers haven't been able to fix?
You're right, wrong side was chosen no question, but it still should have been easily good enough to see off Sheff Utd reserves. I've wanted Conte out for a while because of the quality of football but he's gone now, almost an irrelevance so the spotlight should be turned on others at the club because too many have been swerving criticism for too long. But then this goes against “X player needs to leave as he wants to win something”
Something is defiantly rotten at the club , but let’s take Sheffield for example , why did we start with Son , Richie and Lucas up top, why did we start with Sanchez , Dier and Davies in defence ? How many players who started against Sheffield were still here under poch?
Why didn’t we just go for it from the start ,
Play the team that just beat Chelsea , try and get a bit of a run together?
It all comes down to small margins I guess as we could be sitting here in 3rd place going into the International break still in the FA cup and still in the CL
Perry Mason wouldn’t be able to sort this shit out ! ( one for the older generation there )Conte's position is now untenable. Levy must sack him tomorrow. Put Mason in charge for the rest of the season.

Having 2 goals advantage should be enough to close up shop against the bottom side of the league ffs. The players have terrible mentality and they shat the bed as soon as Southampton started to fight hard for every ball.Looks at the game from yesterday , we go 3-1 up and we decide to dig in , 5/4/1 and just sit back and invite pressure , against the bottom of the league , surely the players don’t decide to do that for themselves?

Why didn't we get it in their half and go to the corner flag like other teams do?Having 2 goals advantage should be enough to close up shop at the bottom side of the league ffs. The players have a clown mentality and they shat the bed as soon as Southampton started to fight hard for every ball.
Yes indeed, he is only mirroring what, most of us suspected for a long time.Conte tells it like it is, I respect that.
He's clearly had enough and is on the way out, in a way he's speaking to us fans, telling us what he sees behind the scenes and some don't like it.
We have a weak mentality and this comes from the top. It's never been about trying to win trophies, it's about increasing our revenue which will make us even more valuable....for the betterment of ENIC and Levy when they inevitably sell the club for a few billion.
He probably should leave now but I'd like him to stay a bit longer, just because of what else he knows and could reveal especially about the odious fuck at the top.

Yep but it’s a lose lose situation. The club needs a hard rebuildI still think he survives. I don’t think we have the balls to remove him from his job. We look weak keeping him but weaker sacking him.

You can if it keeps happening under different managers and players. The manager and players dont have an excuse. Because of that the manager will be sacked and this seasons 'bad apples' will be moved on, just like all the others over the last 2 years. Why should the owners, chairman and board get away with it? Shall we just appoint another lamb to the slaughter and hope it changes? We've beaten lesser teams in various competitions over the years, it doesn't mean much.
One constant at the club yes, but that shouldn't give the managers or the players any excuse, you can't just point to upstairs purely because you can't beat Sheffield United.
