You make some really solid points, scott. And I had been accepting reality for quite a number of weeks until my buddy N17-Tommo N17-Tommo disabused me of that nonsense and I've been firmly on the No Way Arse Is Gonna Win ever since. And considering how vehemently my guy Tommo defended his point previously I'm sure he's still not having it.

But your argument is starting to sway me...I'm sure Big T will be here soon to firm up my spine.

And honorable mention to my guy Starks Starks on this matter as well.
Oh look, Woolwich win and their gweatest fan boi gets all excited and can't control his glee.

It's funny you had to wait until your hero's had the game in the bag before coming out to play. Like beating Leeds at home is a massive achievement.

Get your flares out and start your North London forever celebrations. :sonlol:

This Woolwich team are just so hard to grasp.

When you go through their players, individually there really is nothing special there tbh. I would struggle to name one world class player in the team. I know Odegaard has been getting lots of praise, but I still couldn’t ever see him playing for Bayern, Madrid, City etc.

If you compare them to our team from 16/17 for example, I wouldn’t swap a single one of our players from that team for one of their current players. Not one.
Yet they just look so so good. I know they have been getting lucky decisions here and there but only a head in the sand idiot woudo say they haven’t been excellent all season. So consistent.

How are they doing it though? Is it elite management from Arteta? Excellent recruitment of players the manager wants and fits his system to a tee? Is it luck? The fact that City and Liverpool have regressed? Or a combination of all the above?

Hold it, are you wavering, Big T? You were supposed to come here and stiffen my spine yet now you waver? They're still not gonna do it, right? Tell me it ain't so.

Could easily have had another penalty to win it, looked more clear cut than the one they gave to me but VAR didn't want to know.

The draw isn't a bad result for us I guess, Brighton are 6 points behind with 2 games in hand now.

Brighton still have to play Spurs (A), Chelsea (A), Woolwich (A), Man Utd (H) and Man City (H) within their final 11 fixtures.

They got it tough.

Wow, some people get upset when they get gentle reminders of what they've said previously. And here you are calling yourself out and having a laugh. Well done.

Hey N17-Tommo N17-Tommo take note of how it's done.
Big game for you next week, do you think you'll beat Liverpool? I guess if you lose at least we won't have to hear you celebrating :contesmell:

They play like a team....we have a couple of high flyers and then everyone else...
I think that about sums up the present...
when we did play as a team though and not so long ago, we were staggeringly good....but we had stars all over the place who played together....as a team..and that's been missing for some time....we haven't replaced a single one of those brilliant players from that era...Bale, Eriksen, Jan and toby...the list goes on and on...

Arsenals season target was top 4 anyway and comfortably achieved it with about 10 games to spare that’s a massive progress while levy has taken us back 5 years.

The reason it's hard to grasp is because your football comprehension is close to non-existent.
