If it's a straight shootout between us and them, do you think our chances of winning are high?
It depends on Nagelsmann's point of view.

With us he has a lot less pressure and more of a project, where he can be the main man to lead it.

With Chelsea he has more expectations with a better squad, however most likely less say in the transfers and the building of the squad.

Also, Chavs just makes way more sense for him.
More money and a large group of very young players that he can work with.

Any manager that comes to us has to assume that in 12 months’ time, one of the greatest players in our history is going to leave on a free and wrench the heart out of the team.

Not a recipe for good times.
Don't forget in the past 20 years, Chelsea have hoovered up every trophy sometimes more than once.
We on the other hand, have been doing it differently. Instead the club, has, decided to build golf courses, have multi purpose events, that bring no glory, but instead makes us better because we do it the right way.

I'm not sure Spurs fans are patient enough for a Potter type.

He'd have the Chelsea stench on him with some fans and if he doesn't hit it off right away, he'll be crucified.

I imagine it might take 12 months plus for us to get going under Potter. A bit like Pochettino when he first joined basically who even in the 15/16 season (when we went up against Leicester) he was getting calls of the sack after Woolwich knocked us out of the league cup.

We have to be. There’s no other choice.

I honestly think fans will get behind a young attacking manager who plays the younger upside player.

Things are gonna get worse before they get better. Just have to hope there’s attractive football in the meantime

Also, on one hand I feel a bit sorry for Potter, but on the other he deserved it.
Nobody should feel sorry for him, he'll have pocketed 10's of millions for being totally shit at his job.

Not a bad life if you can get it.
