Got Levy written all over it
Well, if Poch (or any manger) does not think he can succeed at Spurs, then I don't want him.Tbh, I don't think Pochettino wants to return at all, certainly not right now.
I think he is absolutely dead set on getting his big move at Real Madrid and considering Ancelotti will be there until 2024, Poch probably thinks that his chance. What if he comes back to Spurs and is a flop, like so many returnees are? Why would Madrid want him then? That's basically his managerial career in tatters when it comes to any top club wanting him again.
We'd either have got him in already or made it clear that he's returning in the summer and not touted around as been having thinking of other managers. The uncertainty when it comes to Poch and Spurs isn't a good look on either the club or him.

As a matter of fact it isI see this gif a lot in SEC message boards. Is it an all caps BAMA in AlabamaSpur?
Well he couldn't succeed (in the way some fans see success) the first time round with a young and hungry team, despite numerous semi finals and finals. I don't see why the second time round would be any more successful.
Bit touchy today aren't you, precious?
Not the best result for yous yesterday afternoon, I guess.
Yawn.
Poch is our best manager of the modern era. Operated on a near zero net spend for years to get those finals and semis, it was a football miracle.
Ironically Woolwich fans are exactly who would try and get digs in on him or not want him back here, because we scared them shitless under him & used to pummel them in many a NLD. The club failed him (and us) and that's why we didn't win anything.

Poch didn't win one NLD at The Emirates.
Yawn.
Never once said he wasn't our best manager of the modern era. Keep up.
Didn't he win an FA cup game there, I seem to remember Dele scoring.
Yeah you really show it with the constant digs you try and get in on him because he didn't win anything whilst we were spending the same as Stoke City.
These days we spend at a somewhat more reasonable level, so Poch might have a chance of going even further, not hard to work out is it?
You are correct about the League Cup quarter final when Dele got a couple but I strongly disagree regarding Poch's NLD record generally.Yeah he did. League cup quarter final, 0-2. And we were completely dominant at home vs them, used to go in to games and pin them back for most of the game.
Emirates in the league is a voodoo I doubt we'll ever shake off but I was never more confident for a NLD than I was under Poch.
We got some good results at home against the top six, but even with his best team, we barely got much away from home, the team never had the belief to get results.Yeah he did. Wasn't a single dig in that post you quoted, Culumbo.
Some Spurs fans consider success as winning things. They're not happy with getting in the top four and failing in the cups every year. Funnily enough, you're one of them. On paper, that's all he achieved. Top four and failures in cup competitions. Numerous semi finals and finals and he couldn't get his team across the line.
I've posted numerous times my feelings on the Poch era. The best time to be a Spurs fan in the last few decades. Which outweighs ANY cup winning feeling. I felt more attached to the club and got more enjoyment out of the club during a few years under Pochettino than I got when we won the League Cup under both Graham and Ramos.
And I am right again in that if Pochettino comes back. Why would it be any different? He couldn't get our best squad in decades passed the finishing line. Why would he be able to do it with this bunch involving a washed Son, a Kane that isn't anywhere near as good as he was first time round and a defence that's a shambles?
We might see some good football (we may not) and the fans will be in good spirits again because Pochettino is back, but if it stays the same, it'll just quickly soon turn toxic again. The same ones calling for him now are the same ones who wanted him gone when he couldn't win a game away from home for nearly 12 months.
We did win a League Cup tie there but both teams left a lot of players out that night.Didn't he win an FA cup game there, I seem to remember Dele scoring.
