I reckon our summer window will look something like this as far as INS are concerned:

- GK: someone of Pickford or Henderson's ilk...if foreign, that Nubel from Monaco on loan from Bayern (will be pitched as the heir apparent to the great Manu Neuer, though so far he's been utter shite)

- CB: a Joachim Andersen-type as our star signing to play alongside Romero and Dier (yes, they'll both still be here AND start next season)...and someone like Jacob Greaves from Hull or Andrew Omobamidele from Norwich as our one for the future...reckon we'll also give Rodon another shout if Davs & Tangs both leave (and Lenglet is too pricey)

- CM: it's got JWP written all over it or Tielemans if Leicester do go down...wouldn't be surprised if a move was also made for Gallagher as the Blue cunts need to shed some weight cause of FFP (and they much prefer their foreign imports). Reckon they'll give us that Alex Scott kid to appease us all

- FWD: we'll defo sign Kulu on a permanent, but not Danjuma. Toney will be too expensive, so we'll probably go in for friggin DLC cause "he brings something different". Or a loan for some big club rejects like Ekitike from PSG, fucking Origi from AC, Mariano from Real...
Pickford, Henderson or JWP would put me in poor humour for the summer.

Players I’ve watched and would like us to sign:

Bella Kotchap
Scott
Eze
Guehi

If Kane goes, I’d hope the money goes on either:
Diaby and we don’t really get a straight #9
Or
Kolo-Muani

Nothing outlandish or impossible on that list.
Pretty sensible list to be fair, one that would go a long way in getting the bones of the squad in order again.

I'm never confident in our ability to deal with Palace though. Both Eze and Guehi still have 2 & 3 years on their contract and can see Palace asking for silly money.

I’ve just read a load of posts by you saying we’d never spend around £100m on a player and now Kolo Muani isn’t outlandish? He’s valued above that.

:avbnaa:
"The French midfielder has two years remaining on his Marseille contract and has performed well this season, contributing five goals and five assists in 40 appearances across all competitions. However, the 2022 World Cup finalist has found himself slightly out of favour with manager Igor Tudor, who has not picked him to start in recent games."

His mom is still his agent, so... yeah... there's that.

Probably tough to get both done in one summer.

I guess it would depend on what other targets are out there.

If we went after the Kokcu geezer then leave Eze and focus on Guehi. But tbh I’m pretty convinced Eze is about to surprise a lot of people with the level he’s going to reach.

The only way we make any semi-decent signing is if we get a manager that can sell them a project AND no other top 8 PL team is interested AND the price if right.

I'm looking at the names Utd and Woolwich are trying to get signed up early and it leaves me in disbelief at our business last summer when we had the golden carrot of CL football to offer (and the financial advantage that comes with it) and
Richarlison turned out to be the best we did....a guy who's probably strongest playing in the position our best player occupies. Genuine weapons grade idiocy by the board and Paratici.
