I get where you're coming from and I'm with you on the overall idea but:
- Porro can't defend
- Romero is a walking red card/penalty
- Udogie is untested in the PL and don't look much of a defender
- Hojbjerg or Sarr til Roddy comes back? I'd still rather bring in a proper CM
- Kulu been transparent for about a year
- Will the real Sonny please stand up?
Yeah you’re right about Roddy. Good point. I’d love a proper CM too but I’m happy to wait a year for that.
Défence is extremely shaky but Slot can coach a defence and this year has been SO bad it won’t be hard to get progress.
Kulu - not gonna die on that hill but I think he is better as a 10 than our wide.
Porro is terrible defensively I agree - that’s why I didn’t want him at all because even though he’s a good player we could all see that if we moved to a back 4 he’d be a liability. Maybe it’s Porro with Davies and Udogie with Royal for a bit of balance. Royal is solid as a rightback.
Got to see about Udogie. Could be great, could be terrible.
