He probably had some form of advising when deciding to appoint Ange. If it was up to him, knowing Levy he probably would've gone for someone like Enrique.Would've thought it would be common sense to get the DOF in first and let him help choose
I just hope Levy is as smart as he thinks he is.
Which podcast please mate? This was not a guy I wanted but this weekend I watched Celtic play, listened to a long podcast about his tactics and then another long interview of him about his life in football.
The people that say there’s something special about this guy as a leader are right. He paints a real vision and gets you bought in.
I’m not saying anything about how he will do but I just encourage the skeptics to give him a chance because I was initially not happy and now can’t wait for him to start.
Won't you now? That better not be me you’re referring to.
Because I won’t be taking that shit from the likes of you.
Won't you now?
Time to embrace your new Aussie master!
In all seriousness. Brisbane Roar, Melbourne Victory and Celtic FC all have one thing in common for Ange. All were at the end of a teams cycle and he relished coming in and rebuilding in his image.
Fair to say we're in a similar position so hopefully history repeats and the wasters who've let us down for 2-3 managers now are given the arse.
Well if nagelsman wants to chose a dof hes going to the wrong place in psg. 0 say in anything there.Nagelsmann - from German press and also Fabrizo Romano, he would have considered coming but wanted power choosing DoF which clearly the club wasn’t willing to give. Could have been done it appears if we really wanted it.
Slot - we wouldn’t pay the release fee which was quite high.
Poch - can understand reservation but otherwise the clear option and confirmed by Ossie and others he wanted back.
Luis Enrique - yeh agreed, I am not sure this was compatible at all given what he would need.
I am not against Poste, he seems to tick some boxes but it’s a huge step up and we had the chance to get others who ticked the same boxes but less risk it’s actually a big risk that Levy has played.
You disagree that our worst season defensively since the 1970s when we finished bottom will not be easy to improve upon?
115 ( that's one hundred and fifteen) pages!!!Why are we arguing about a Tottenham manager who’s not actually a tottenham manager!

You disagree that conceding fewer goals might lead to more points?
If Rolf hadn't been a massive paedo and sexual deviant we'd have had some great tunes to use.
Sometimes the universe is too fucked up.
XXXX is the go to beer in Queensland, it's brewed in Brisbane. Was in Australia in 1999......and all the blokes were drinking Victoria Bitter VB for short...... Fosters is only popular in the UK while nobody gives a s*** about XXXX
There’s a definite argument that playing on the front foot will actually expose our defenders less. If you’ve got a weak defence you don’t want to be sitting back and applying consistent pressure to them do you?Why would we concede fewer goals when going for a more open manager? We have dreadful defenders and dreadful keepers. I don’t trust Levy to adequately deal with that problem.
And Kane is probably off which will offset any hypothetical defensive improvement.
Any Idea what Victoria Bitter tastes like? Apparently it's popular in OZ.XXXX is the go to beer in Queensland, it's brewed in Brisbane.
It's what I imagine cat piss tastes like.
So it tastes just like Budweiser then.XXXX is the go to beer in Queensland, it's brewed in Brisbane.

I'm not going to try and win you around, I think I've defended Ange enough at this point now. But just dispute that point. The reason he hasn't made it is because he's doing something that's literally unheard of. Not just the first Aussie, first manager from the Asian or Oceanian confederation. Nobody took a chance on him despite the success he had. This is unprecedented for a coach outside of Europe or South America, particularly one who didn't even have a stellar playing career here. Celtic took a brave risk and were rewarded, now we could be.That's because we've been without an official manager since late March, anyone will do at this point!
He's that great, that inspirational and yet didn't come over to Europe until he was 55?
People have been going on about 'red flags' with Nagelsmann but these were related to his choice of girlfriend, going around ona skateboard and upsetting Oliver Khan (who was subsequently sacked by Bayern).
There are real red flags regarding Ange but we're all so desperate some have convinced themselves that Levy has pulled off some kind of coup in getting him.
Hopefully he really is all that and get us back challenging near the top of the table. That's what really matters, not playing attacking football but sitting mid-table.
