Rodgers success doesn't make Ange a better or worse coach that Rodgers.

Unless we are saying Ange was only measured by his success in Scotland and that's why he was brought in.

In this case it's pretty clear he's actually been brought in because he's an excellent coach. Winning at Celtic is an extra.

AC Milan's twat of an American owner wanna get rid of Paolo Maldini (technical director) and Frederic Massara (sporting director), despite them doing a sterling job and helping the club get its seat at the big table back.

They hadn't won the Serie A title in donkeys' years, they did so last year. And though their CL performances weren't scintillating, they still reached the semis. Maldini & Massara played a huge part in that, on top of Paolo being THE ultimate club legend.

Could be worth a phone call...

Oh right, so when Rodgers took over at Leicester following his great spell at Celtic, it was all doom and gloom for them was it? Were Leicester not flavour of the year and he won them the FA Cup?

His spell at Leicester turned awful because the club from top to bottom has been run appallingly the last year or so.

The reason so many Spurs fans (including me) was against appointing Rodgers was because he had come off a bad spell at Leicester and he would not have been the type of appt to inspire any hope.

You've been so quick to write off Ange before he's even stepped foot in the door. Your negative, doom and gloom attitude just comes across as entitled.

You're not happy with win now managers (Jose/Conte) and you're not happy with coaches who have something to prove i.e Ange so what's the point in even attempting support the club. Id just give up if I was you if it causes you this much misery.

I 100% expect you to be booing in his first game when we're drawing 0-0 at half time.

Is that Real Madrid who has a revenue 9 times greater than Celtic?

People can’t at once dismiss Ange’s achievements at Celtic because it’s a shit small time League and then in the next breath complain that they got soundly beaten by the biggest team in world football.
 
I’m not sure about this guy and i think it represents a huge gamble for levy but I actually prefer this appointment to the last three choices we’ve gone for so I guess that means I’m hopeful. I’m behind him, let’s see what he can do .
