It’s more money to spend from finishing higher in the League.
It’s more money to spend as a result of Europa League qualification.
And it’s not as if you’re an agent and know anything about any footballer’s motivation.

It's ever been the case that ENIC refuse to pay big wages. It's the reason we miss out on so many potential signings.
You never see Chelsea failing to attract top talent do you? I'm sure you don't see Chelsea fans talking about missing out on Maddison due to not making the fucking Europa league.....lol

just because we were once total crap.. doesn't mean we should be happy with being nearly men? and yet instead should revert back to total crap! The owners have failed to make us a force.

We needed to push on 4 years ago.. and yet we have NOT! we are now in danger of not being a regular top 4 side and even less likely to win things.

We cannot except the failings of ENIC.

You said it was ENIC's fault that NC was more appealing to Maddison than Spurs and that this appeal was due to money (money that they wouldn't have had a hope of spending were it not for being being bought out by Saudi sports-washers).

You just want to make excuses all the time for the clubs penny pinching.

There is nothing (beyond ENIC) stopping us offering big wages. We are a very profitable club. But we don't even try and compete on that kind of level.
If we get blown out of the water by what Newcastle offer then fine, but have a fucking go. Offer some big wages and stop hiding behind excuses that he chose them because we aren't in the Europa.. It's just small time and embarrassing.

We both know ENIC/Levy would rather punt on a couple of cut price uknowns that fall under the catagory of "potential"

Liverpool, no Champions league football already wrapped up Macallister, bet they just paid him and his agent what he asked for.

These ambitious clubs operate on an entirely different level to us, one day you will wake up to that fact.

Squad def needs at least 2 players with that kind of value.

Knowing we won’t pay it, better hope there are 2-3 players that good out there available for less.

It’s not impossible. Clubs like Brighton, Dortmund etc have found ways to get value from the market
