That video is mental. Especially if it's all one season??

Some of those even peak Hugo wasn't getting. Last season Hugo wasn't even diving for half of them.
I saw that save on Tammy Abraham's shot months ago on reddit, and completely forgot about it till now. Absolute mental save.

Though tbh, he was partly necessary cos he parried the intial shot into danger.

Apparently Marca reporting B.Silva off the Saudi......

World class player at his peak...... If true; that's a game-changer.

Let's not start with this again. That Milan side was pathetic, it's embarassing how we were even worse. We practically gave them a guard of honour to the QF. Those two games have no bearing on anything.

I've watched enough Torino, Salernitana etc. to see the huge difference between them and the likes of Palace, Fulham and Bournemouth.
Which is why I said it’s not as deep as the PL.

But the top 7 of Serie A were as good as the top 7 of the PL.

Can I ask how you know, serious question but are you a regular Empoli watcher?
Watch some Serie A, but no, not a regular Empoli watcher. But one can read up on players looking at a broad spectrum of sources (not just one source), including how fans asses them, their data profiles, etc. and compile a general opinion of what they're like. Watch a few of those videos that show all a player's touches within a game (not the highlight vids) and confirm what I've read. Nowhere near professional scout level, but neither "he must be shit, because I've never heard of him / he's cheap."

ILSpur ILSpur posted that earlier. In that thread some Lazio fan is saying that Vicario was Sarri's first choice target last summer. Their current keeper Provedel, who Sarri wanted as Vicario's backup, is apparently the best in the league.

EDIT: Watched a fair few comps of him already, he seems to have a habit of parrying shots back into danger instead of up or to the sides.

That 3rd save is absolutely unreal. 2nd not too shabby either

Interesting that most Italians on social media seem to think his distribution is more than fine and that most think he should be starting for Italy over Donnarumma because of said distribution and that only Onana in Serie A is better with the ball at their feet.
Onana is an alien even by sweeper keeper standards.

No way would Yer Da’s tolerate him carrying the ball to the halfway line and casually chipping one out to the wing.

tapsoba would be statement signing for us, has to be priority as our defence is shit, if we get tosin or collins cheap would be good too
Doing a bit of a deep-dive on Vicario here and it's not making me feel better. Hopefully this is to accelerate things with Brentford and get them down to low 30's. Would much rather overpay a bit for a hg keeper, who speaks English and Spanish (common language of many of our defenders) than take a chance on this guy who doesn't jump off the page. Raya is legitimately quite good.
