You've just gotta love the mental gymnastics going on in this thread.:D

This Vicario chap who nobody had heard of a couple of days ago. He is what he is, guys.
The Cheaper option. The Poundland alternative. Levy's Booby prize..... .whatever

Why try and convince yourselves otherwise :harrylol:

I think we all know it's a cheaper alternative. Also i'd think most of this forum is either anti levy or just neutral, very few pro.
But we can mostly all agree that spending 40 million (probably a very big chunk of our budget) on Raya, a keeper who isnt anything too special with a just a year left on his contract isnt worth it, and the saved money is better invested on CBs

Go click "transfers" on the top menu, click "permanent", switch to "outgoing" tab and then click "+" add 'sessegnon'. You will get a warning saying this action may affect player morale, click "understood", set an asking price (optional)..and boom..sessgnon has been added to the transfer list

Is there a particular website or will any do?

-------------------Vicario-------------------
Porro----Romero----Tasposa-----Udogie
----Bissouma--Maddison--Bentancur--
--Kulusevski--------------------------Son--
--------------------Kane----------------------

so with Bentancur out until Nov we will probably need another CM unless Ange is alright with Ndombele, Sarr, Skipp or even Devine starting.

would people be happy with that team?

Edit

or maybe he sees Porro as one of the attacking 3 and either Spence or Emerson starting at RB.?
Decent side on paper, but we know that with Spurs the reality is often different.

Not to be negative, especially before a ball's been kicked, but should we field that team, we ain't getting top 4...but top 6-8 yeah maybe.

IMHO there are just too many question marks: how's Vicario gonna fare his first year in a (far) more demanding league? Is Romero gonna stop being a cunt? Can Ange teach Porro & Udogie how to defend? Tapsoba the new Superjan or yet another very pricey flop? Same question re Mads. What's Roddy gonna be like after such a bad, lengthy injury? Can Biss get back to his Brighton best now Conte ain't here to clip his wings? Will Kulu & Sonny recover their form or are they done now? What if Kane doesn't score 30 goals or thereabouts? Any game-changers on the bench or still turds aplenty?

Well apparently we're interested in selling Hojbjerg and Sanchez, can't we just have Sessegnon in the same category, ie listenig to offers for said player.
Sanchez would like to leave. So that’s not the club publicly forcing him out. Ditto Lloris.

Nothing concrete on Hojbjerg but there’s no smoke without fire obviously. Same goes for the likes of Perisic and Dier.

Regardless of how much we as fans might want shot of players, the club has to tread lightly and not be seen to publicly ostracise players. They still have agents who have other clients in their stable who we will inevitably want at some point or another.

Honestly don't think Porro has the required skill set to play as an inverted full back in an Ange team.

I think we're much more likely to see him as a right winger and Kulusevski as the more advanced 8 inside, personally. Ultimately playing the O'Riley role at Celtic.

If they really want them out, they can lower the price.

You’d have said the same thing if we signed Min-Jae Kim for 3m like Fenerbahce did. Or if we signed him for 18m like Napoli did after we were linked with Bastoni.

And you’d have looked like a tit.

We could repeat this game for Caicedo for 5m or MacAllister for 8m.

Lots of our best players were signed for <20m. The aim is to sign good players not spunk a load of money to win the transfer market. But that would require you to put down your agenda.

Will be interesting to see.

Porro is surely closer to the skill set needed than Emerson. Emerson the better defender.

Do both FBs invert or 1 invert and the other push on?

Udogie apparently more suited to invert

I personally think Emersons best games for us were when he came into the centre of the park (instead of overlapping) so I think Emerson would actually be better suited in Anges system.

Udogie definitely suited. He's basically a box to box midfielder playing outwide.
