Testimonials aren't always the money spinner people think they are. Gary Mabbutt had his in the middle of the Sugar/Littner era and got billed for the stadium costs while Phil Beal actually lost money from his testimonial (see the book Dream On by Alex Fynn and H Davidson).

These days, most players don't need testimonials which is just as well because I'm not sure there would be a lot of people turning up for Eric Dier which is a shame because he has served the club for many years just not in a way that engenders love and support from the fans.

It's a bit too late, we should have had decent spending/recruitment when we handed the title to Leicester and the season we moved to NWHL. See the scums now, spending when they just missed wining the league, I think they will win mainly because City will relax after winning CL and the treble.

After all our highs between 2016 to 2021, we are now 8th out of Europe and empty cabinet and poor squad..
In short, damage was done, will take another 5 seasons to get anywhere near the top, if happens.

don't see it, I wouldn't say we are rivals but don't see how it makes sense for them. They would be better sending off to Germany for the season

You're missing the point. I said clearly that we can be disappointed and critical, we can advocate replacing them etc - there's just no need to call them 'cunts' who should 'fuck off' etc, there' s no need to be so personal and venomous about it as though they killed your family or something. They're human beings same and you and me, most of them are doing their best, it may not be good enough for us but in many instances that's not their fault, they just have limited abilities, there's no need to call them names and be such a cunt about it, the vast majority of them don't deserve that.
