Now do dier, Sanchez, ndombele , locelso, rodon, and reggie
So much deadwood
Just spent a week in vancouver. Apparently a regular occurrence there is a fallen tree blocking a river, then dozens of other fallen trees back up behind it. Until it let's go. Then they all rush downstream and wipe out towns and bridges.
That is like a euphemism for our squad situation at the moment.

Doesn't need to enjoy it

Well yeah, that’s his problem. He doesn’t enjoy it so he doesn’t do it. Why sweat blood when he doesn’t have to? As long as he turns up on time he gets his 200k a week.

Bit worried we are going to sign Soloman as the easy option.

On a free he would be a smart signing. We already signed Maddison and Deki, unless we sell Kane or Richarlison I can’t see another big fee being spent on an attacker.

“Also, what is real, is that Harry Kane is open to making a move to Bayern. This is the reality. Harry Kane hasn’t told Tottenham at the moment he wants to leave. But at the same time, the feeling is from Bayern’s side that Harry Kane is open to make the move. He knows Tuchel wants him. At the moment, it’s more down to the clubs than the player,” Romano said.

“Bayern are determined to sign a striker. They want to try again for Harry Kane. They will take some time. Tottenham want to fight to keep him but Bayern will try him. For Spurs, this is going to be a crucial moment of their summer.”

Wow. This is your sober personality?!

Awkward Season 4 GIF by The Office
Billy Bob talking about “personality”.

He is a perfect example of how we have destroyed our football team with bad signings.

We went from the power and grace of Dembele to this lump who spends most of his time lying down on the grass. Yeah he can dribble, but so what? You have to do so much more than that to be a top PL player. Pinning the future of the Poch era to him and Lo Celso was the biggest football mistake in our history.
Counterpoint: the club’s “bad signings” are all the scrubs that Conte didn’t loan out that got us 8th place and got himself the sack.

The players loaned out did quite well for themselves, more trophies than their parent club.

I guess if he wants to prove he can do it in the prem he will have to do the work now. Ange will fuck him off sharpish if he doesn't.

Agree on Soloman. If he's basically free and on low wages, he looks like a great bet to over-deliver and if that means we have money for x2 top CB targets, it's a very smart signing.

As woolwich saw with Pepe or yanited with Sancho, you can spend a shit ton on a forward/winger and not be guaranteed to get more than what Solomon has already shown he can do in the prem.

The signing of Soldado should have sent a signal to Levy that all that glitters is not gold.

For him to follow up on the shit show that was Janssen with the French pair was staggering but the last fucking straw for me was Lo Celso and N'Dombele.

There's two hundred million wasted that could have brought two or three like an Allison, Mane, VanDyk, Grealish or that ilk.

It's not about how much we spent, it's who we spend it on.

Terrible decisions have been made on signings.

Levy might have a court battle on his hands first.
